I have stayed at the Haven Inn on 4 occasions during trips to Sydney. The rooms are average but the location, service and cost is good. Good balcony's overlooking the city on the third floor. Fantastic local food outlets, especially the bakery 100m away where the products are fantastic, especially the Vietnamese pork rolls. Its my hotel of choice in Sydney... More

we stayed here for 2 nights in Glebe - a nice and vivid area of Sydney with many small shops and restaurants ( great Thai, chinese, indian, italian etc. food - affordable too ! - in the vicinity ). Our room was old, the furniture old and broken, rather dirty. In the nighttime you could not hear so mjuch of the traffic outside but when... More

After deliberating for quite a while we decided on this place for a weekend away. Well other than the bed being comfortable that was about all that was good. Check in at reception was slow due to there only being one person there and he wasn't behind the desk when we got there but came from the car park. There... More

We stayed there for two nights in May 2014. It was vivid Sydney weekend. The big hotels were expensive. So, this just did the job. Bathroom was new enough! Could not avoid small cockroaches in the room. The beds were good. The staff were friendly enough. Being close to the road, it was noisy at times. Somehow I fell asleep.... More

The place is basic and barely clean. We were given one room that REEKED of stale cigarette smoke and asked for another.. top floor and we were so tired from travel, we accepted it. It also reeked. And we had to lug all our luggage up the stairs with no help. Many of the power points did not work, and... More

I love that The Haven Inn can accommodate our family in one room. Myself and my husband and two teenagers can fit in one room which is not always possible whilst traveling-I am not saying it is spacious, but we are not crushed in like sardines. I would prefer to have affordable accommodation so that we can spend a little... More

My partner and I stayed at The Haven in in February 2014, it was a terrible experience! The rooms are horribly over priced for what you get. Our room was outdated and shabby, furnishing were scuffed and scratched, draws were broken. The milk capsules in the fridge were past their use-by date, and that's just the beginning of our terrible... More

Stayed overnight, room smelled of smoke, curtains old, carpet old, shower exhaust fan not working, no soap holder, large cockroach on floor, only saving grace was comfy bed. Not worth the money. Please upgrade.

The room was disgusting I was bitten by bed bugs and woke up in the morning covered in red bites a few days later I found I had head lice not only that it was discovered that all the guest I travelled with also got head lice. This hotel charged us over $300 for a room the auspices let slept... More
