This was the fourth hotel I'd stayed in within Sydney, and so I feel like I am able to compare it well with the experience of other hotels in the city. This hotel was the best value for the money that I've encountered in Sydney. It was clean, the service was excellent, and the location was extremely convenient to commute... More

We booked 6-8 weeks before we were planning on traveling, and requested two separate beds when we booked. We arrived only to be told that there were no twin rooms left, and we would either have to share a bed, or they could provide a single roll away. I wouldn't have minded so much if we had been notified in... More

The location is fine but there are no views really of Darling Harbour. It is on the edge of the city and borders Darling Habour. Room was fine with a great and spacious bathroom and the beds and pillows were outstanding. We had a corner room which gave us a bit of a 180 degree panoramic view but there wasn't... More

We stayed there for three days including NY eve and it was last minute booking. It is a kind of average hotel everyone will experience. But I found room was clean, hotel staffs are helpful and amongst the all, location is really good. Only hotel parking was expensive, but parking in Sydney CBD is expensive though. We found a parking... More

My best friend and i stayed here in June 2011 for a birthday girls weekend away. The room was ready early which was great as we had been up at 3am for an early flight. THe room had two big beds with plenty of extra pillows (for me) and blankets (for my friend) the heating and air con worked well... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights between Christmas and New Year 2011 The parking was $45.00 per night!! Wow, the beds were hard and the sheets dirty, the pillows were so soft we ended up using the chair cushions. The first afternoon we returned to our room they had left a pile of rubbish that they forgot to... More

Dear Mad9044, My most sincere apologies for your experiences at the hotel during your most recent stay. These experiences certainly do not reflect our normal high standards of service and cleanliness and the team was most disappointed to know we have fallen short of our high standards on this occasion. Rest assured your comments have been taken most seriously and... More

We spent three nights in the Parkroyal on the 10th floor over looking Darling Harbour. The location is excellent for walking around Darling Harbour, IMAX theatre, Cockle Bay, Aquarium and the Pitt st Mall and Westfield shopping complex, centre point tower and QVB. Also not too far to the George st cinemas and Paddys markets. We did also walk down... More

I travelled to Sydney for work and stayed here..The biggest advantage of this hotel is the location. You can walk to all major attractions and it is very convenient in terms of taking a train or getting a cab. Unlike some other hotels it is slightly off darling harbour..however, its just a 2 min walk to harbour if you want... More

Our family ducked up to Sydney overnight to check out the Harry Potter exhibition at the Powehouse Museum at Darling Harbour. My wife and I stayed in a double room, whilst my two daughters stayed in a twin room - both rooms were facing the CBD, so no harbour views. Booked online through <booking.com> which we secured for $170 each... More
