Stayed here with my wife and child, we wanted a separate bedroom/living area, so got the king bed suite. The room was pretty large, though the price fairly steep at $300 Australian. The room was fairly dated, furniture was a bit tired and had seen better days, looks like the hotel had probably last had a major make over back... more

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was a peaceful hotel with friendly staff. Our room was lovely with a view of Darling Harbour. It was really quiet, despite construction still taking place nearby and it is next to main roads. The breakfast was lovely, although a little expensive ($35 per person). It is really close to the Aquarium, Wildlife... more

The hotel is directly on the darling harbour and has an excellent view of the harbour. Best when visited during the festival that takes place once in a year. Walking around the downtown is very convenient and walking distance from most of the sight seeing locations more

I booked this as a mystery hotel when we decided to extend our stay in Sydney by a couple of days (we were staying at Holiday Inn Old Sydney, The Rocks). This turned out to be a great location for us. We walked to Darling Harbour Hoop La festival, Chinese Gardens, Powerhouse Museum/Star Wars exhibition, Aquarium, Imax, ate out a... more

I've stayed at so many different Hotels in Sydney over the past twelve months, but Crowne Plaza Darling Harbour was easily one of the very best. It isn't as impressive as a hotel like the Sydney Hilton or the Shangri-La, but for a good quality Business hotel, you won't to better. The rooms are large, the bathrooms are as big... more

This is one of my favourite hotels in Sydney, and I have stayed there several times already. The location is good. It is only 5 minute walk to Darling Harbour or Town Hall station. The rooms are modern and nicely decorated. However this hotel is not quite 5-star. The fitness center is a small room with no windows, very similar... more

This is my favourite hotel when I visit Sydney. It is a very good hotel with clean, pleasant and modern rooms (flat screen TVs and full bathrooms). The hotel is within easy walking distance of good shopping and Sydney’s Chinatown with its many excellent restaurants. The staff is friendly and efficient. The hotel has a pleasantly comfortable grill restaurant, Redsalt... more

Couldnt fault the Crowne Plaza. Staff, room, restaurant everything was good. The room and bathroom were quite spacious. Across the road from Darling Harbour where there are plenty of restaurants and bars etc. Would definately stay there again. more
