Immediate impressions at the entrance and lobby are wow, hip and cool. The room was a bit pokey, but the view was excellent, facing the water, city and botanical gardens. The interior of the hotel was dark and cold, so it was outside meetings for me, at Otto's on the wharf.

Have stayed here twice now this year - obviously haven't tired of it. Great for strolling thru botanic gardens to opera house and within striking distance of nice nosheries in Potts Point (with stairs to negotiate that remind one of Paris). Breakfast pretty standard i.e. can be tarted up a bit. Decor in room adopts usual Taj style but layout... More

This hotel is gorgeous. It has beautiful touches in the rooms and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Brilliant location - close to the city as well as to the SCG and Allianz stadium, art gallery, restaurants etc. The rooms are surprisingly quiet given that they look onto a busy road. I adore this hotel and will return as... More

We've returned to Blue Hotel many times (I think 5 times) and enjoy staying in the 'luxury marina view loft suites' which are spacious and comfortable at 58 square metres. The suites offer picturesque views over the marina, Royal Botanical Gardens and the city, oh and have super comfortable king size beds. The hotel decor is chic and funky and... More

This hotel is very well located to be outside the bustle of the business district, but within easy walking distance through the Botanical gardens to the Opera House and waterfront. A historic warehouse, which has been sympathetically converted, leaving the interior spacious, makes for a wonderful atmosphere and you can step right out onto the wharf outside. There are many... We travelled to Sydney as a family and stayed our first couple of nights at The Blue, as my wife had stayed there on her last trip to Sydney and loved it. We walked into the lobby, and I was impressed - it looks really funky, and all the original industrial features are well lit to give a great ambience... More

Excellent hotel. Surprisingly handy location. Great restaurants and also the original Harry d'wheels. The bar doesn't open until 5pm but plenty of pubs close by if you want to celebrate Australia beating France in the rugby. Very close to one of the very few cycle paths in Sydney..easy ride to Moore and Centenial Parks. The staff were great and even... More

Having stayed close to Circular Quay on our previous visits to Sydney, we wanted to try a slightly different location and this was perfect. The waterside location feels peaceful but the city centre is walking distance away. There's a scenic route round the harbourside and through the Botanic Gardens - this was a beautiful route to run along in the... More

Very different accommodation. Loft room good , but small and not much room for cases etc. if you don't like stairs don't stay here.It has a lovely view of harbour, and there are several trendy and popular restaurants with a few minutes walk. The bar area pleasant enough but as we were here in winter we found it a bit... More

This was the second time that we had stayed at the BLUE Sydney and chose to stay here again while over in Sydney for a long weekend. We booked two rooms, one pier view loft suite for the young adult children and a marina view loft suite for ourselves. These rooms are not huge but more than adequate for three... More
