Have stayed at this hotel a few times now and this was definitely a better stay. After reading some other reviews, I ensured I stayed on the wharf side of the hotel and agree this side is much better than the other side due to - less noise - better view - no direct sunlight into the room @ dawn... more

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our daughter left her hair straightening tongs in the room and I phoned late at night after we discovered them missing. The staff responded immediately, searching in the lost property and posted them to us the next day. The location is perfect , the rooms are sound proof and well... more

Spent a very short trip at the hotel. Its on Cowper Wharf, a great location with lots of very nice waterfront dining options. A place to consider for a fun weekend in Sydney with friends. Unique structure in a renovated wharf building, resembling a 19th century wooden structure, with supporting indoor arches which resemble the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The lobby... more

I enjoyed my stay here, I got a room over the entrance so a tad noisy but only when I had to wake up anyway so no problem there. Tried to get into the gym but my card didnt seem to work so didnt bother. Great restaurants down the side there and close to the city, though I wouldnt walk... more

Blue is a good looking hotel in a great old building. Rooms are nicely furnished and clean. BUT I have stayed twice now and will never stay again. WHY? The rooms are VERY noisy and VERY light if you are on the right side of the building. Both times I have been placed right over the boom gates for people... more

I have stayed at Blue several times. Up until a year ago I lived in Sydney so am very familiar with Sydney & Sydney hotels and I do love a really good hotel. Would go so far as to say I am extremely particular/fussy. I have usually stayed in the rafter rooms, which are at the cheaper end of their... more

We were not the least bit impressed with the "loft" room- save your money- the bathroom upstairs was way way to small- the wood panel around the mirror was peeling, the tile and grout was not very clean, the kettle leaked, the mini bar was unreal- way over priced- no bottled water without charge...in a place that hit 35 degrees-... more

The building makes it different to other hotels but in places it's a bit shabby. The blinds on the windows were falling apart, the mini bar door handle fell off, a door didn't fit quite right, the shower tiles were a bit stained. Meanwhile the location isn't great, Woollomolloo is better than it was a few years ago but it... more

Stayed two nights in a loft apartment. About average for Sydney prices but well located on a wharf into the harbour and walking distance to the city. Warning. Check your bill; we were charged for breakfast and the use of the bar. After contacting the hotel they did refund the breakfast, but failed to credit the bar which we had... more
