Simpsons is a delightful bed and breakfast in a lovely part of Sydney. The bedroom was large with a comfy bed and the ensuite was well appointed. Everything was clean and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly. There was even sherry and port available in the living room along with masses of interesting books!

We travelled to Sydney from Perth to see Aida. What a magnificent performance and venue. Equal to the show was our choice of accommodation. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The majestic room and historic ambience transported us to an era long gone in our hustle bustle lives. Ree and staff made our stay very comfortable... More

We were in Sydney for a family wedding and the location was ideal. We could walk to circular key, and enjoyed a lovely sized bedroom in a quiet area. We enjoyed a relaxed, quality breakfast without the formality of a large hotel. Daniel was extremely accommodating in allowing us to leave our bags and return after climbing the bridge to... More

Good location. Heritage listed & well maintained. We stayed in the dorma. So you need to be able to do a few flights of stairs with your bags. Brekkie was basic, but good enough for me. Cereal, toast & the like. It's not cheap but the quality accommodation & location bumps up the price. Though a lovely stay. Don't try... More

We searched for a B & B in Sydney that had car parking and came across this little gem 'Simpsons of Potts Point', which looked and sounded wonderful. We were so happy to arrive and find that the hotel was just like the photos and the description were true to the last finer point. Ree was such a beautiful host... More

There are a few possibilities for Sydney: the new design hotel....other and the place where a spirit exist (rare). You feel at simpson that this house have and had in the past a true life. You feel here that something was happened. Of course' there are some side effects.... 1. Far from the modern but stay in extremely good conditions.... More

Situated an easy 30 min walk from the town centre through the Botanics, this beautiful old building has been lovingly restored and has an elegance money can't buy. The downstairs public rooms are quiet and peaceful with ornate cornicing and stunning wood floors. Our bedroom was large, the bed comfortable and it had the added bonus of a private balcony.... If you want a relaxing, quiet and very enjoyable place to stay while in Sydney. Simpson's is outstanding. Simpson's is a b&b with warm and caring owners. They give you maps and directions for any place you may want to go. They are close to a bus stop. Busses are very clean. We would stay with Keith next time we... More

We booked this B&B from Tripadvisor review and where not disappointed. We arrived a day late but made very welcome for early breakfast. The rooms and the hotel itself are very nice and Keith the owner cannot do enough for you. Loads of great restaurants within 250 yards of hotel (try Jimmy Kwongs). 30 minute walk through botanic gardens to... More

Lovely old world charm with friendly hosts made for a memorable stay. Unfortunately Sydney did not put on the best weather for us, but we were able to relax comfortably in the lounge after checking out whilst waiting for our flight. Fantastic location with lots of great restaurants nearby and a short walk through the botanic gardens to Circular Quay.
