The hotel was very well located, within walking distance to The Rocks, Circular Quay and other attractions. It has comfortable rooms. The staff was helpful and efficient. There were many nearby restaurants and pubs. Overall, it was a very nice start for our holiday.

There is no question that The Grace Hotel has one of the best locations in Sydney. The building is beautiful as are all of the public spaces. However it is time the rooms had a makeover. The bathrooms are at that awkward age of being too young to be quaint or too old to be exciting! And surely in this... More

The Grace is fine: convenient, clean, comfortable bed, satisfactory in room dining and amenities. I was staying for business once or twice per month, and at each check-in I was required to provide full contact details despite this already been recorded on their system. Once due to a room error the manager advised I would receive an upgrade on my... More

I wouldn't come back if the place wasn't good. This time I stayed for 6 nights and had a wonderful sleep each night. There was a bit of a mix up getting down pillows the first night but they had them available and nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and full of quality... More

Stayed here after Travel Agent recommendation. It is an old style refined hotel in a central location in Sydney. Rooms were spotless and well appointed, service was friendly and efficient, will stay here again next time in Sydney. From its position, we could easily walk to Darling Harbour, Botanical Gardens, Circular Quay and of course the shops.

This hotel has an amazing and interesting history which is shown on the walls and also throughout the hotel. Wide hallways and good size rooms. This hotel was so quiet and we could hear no road noise despite there being roadworks right outside the hotel. We both had a great sleep and the air con was comfortable and adjustable to... More

I couldnt get enough of the building itself which is so beautiful, The light fittings on each floor, I even walked up all the stairs to have a look at the different hallways and the couch on one floor and the old rickshaw on another floor. Staff very friendly nothing was too much bother. Great stay so close to Darling... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
