I've stayed here a few times before. Cheaper than many places, however you get what you pay for. Recent stay with my family was disastrous with no hot water after coming back late at night. Awoke the next morning to water (?) running into our shower from above. Awful! The bathroom cleanliness was not up to speed either. When speaking... more

Booked it for 20th wedding anniversary thinking it would be OK .Not expecting it to be flash because of the price but it was convenient to where we wanted to visit on the weekend .After negotiating the difficult tiny carpark & the lift that doesn't like to go anywhere , we arrived in the room . We stayed there a... more

For the purpose of a one night's stay ($135AUD), followed by courtesy shuttle to the airport, this one passed the test, especially when compared to the exorbinate cost of the hotels in the airport area that I've used in the past. For some reason the hotel restaurant was temporarily closed, but the hotel offered the Randwick Labour Club as an... more

I will not waste time going through all the details. All i will say is that we had cockroaches flying around the room in the middle of the night. We of course, requested a room change, which we got at 2am. After shifting all our stuff and checking the second room for more unwanted guests, we finally managed to sleep... more

I was bitten 3 times in 5 minutes by what seeemed to be fleas or bedbugs. That was before I even sat down! The room was dusty, the edges of the carpet lined with dust & the carpets well and due ready for both cleaning and replacement. I couldn't stay, we had to leave. I am well used to 4... more

During the first night in the 'family room' we awoke with a burning and itching sensation on our hands. We initially believed these bites to be mosquitos, but after the second night it was clear that these bites were from fleas. A dead and blood engorged flea was found in the bed to confirm our suspicion. We reported this to... more

Booked one night at the Gemini before flying out of Sydney the next day. Chose it because it was supposedly near the airport, it offered free airport transfers and the website made it look ok. First of all, when we returned our hire car to the airport, we looked for the courtesy bus. We were directed to the general area... more

We stayed one night before an early morning flight. Although the place could do with an undate everything was clean and tidy and confortable for a one night stay. Only problem we found was we asked for a 5.15am wake up call but got that at 4.45 and also had booked the 6.15 shuttle but when we went down to... more

I was booked to stay for ten nights, but checked out after one. The price changed on arrival (from $135 on the phone to $190 on arrival) and based on the condition of the place $135 was already too much. My room was tiny, the cleaners kit and vacuum cleaner had been left in the room and there was no... more

We stayed here for one night only to cure jet lag following a flight from SFO. It exceeded our expectation. Our twin room cost $135. It was clean, and the room was well maintained. The room, although small met our needs, and reminded us of a small European style family hotel. As other reviewers noted, the airport shuttle was very... more
