Was given a room for the Disabled--bathroom got fully wet after having a shower. No shelving in bathroom to put anything. Expected more for the price paid compared to other hotels. May be other rooms are better.

Dear Jahaji, Our accessible rooms do have open showers, I am sorry that it caused you an issue. Unfortunately that was the only room available at time of booking due to high occupancy. Thank you taking the time to give me your feedback. Regards Ali Ulus More

Stayed here for world for a number of nights midweek. Great central location with an endless number of paces to eat. A great choice for those in Sydney for business. Didn't eat at the hotel choosing to wander around in the shopping mall underneath.

Stayed four nights in this hotel. It is so centrally located in Sydney CBD South. If you are after Asian food and culture stay here. Everything is within short walking distance. Unlike the Ibis, Rydges is so much better. It is clean, modern and staff are very good. Would definitely stay here again.

I use this hotel frequently when I stop overnight in Sydney for business. I have always found the place to be pleasant, clean and the staff to be helpful. The location is great for city meetings or any sort of restaurants. It is within easy walking distance of most attractions and close to Darling Harbour.

This hotel is central and close to all Sydney has to offer. Walking distance to Chinatown, Darling Harbour, Pitt Street Mall and Circular Quay. The room we had was modern, clean and comfortable. It was a good size and very quiet. All staff we came across were amazing. I would like to mention how helpful Jade S was when we... More

The Hotel is within the CBD and walking distance to the major attractions in Sydney. The rooms are spacious and comfortable enough. The restaurant offers very nice meals at a reasonable price. In the evening you can walk to the entertainment joints next to the hotel or just relax within the VIP lounge downstairs.

Loved staying at Rydges! Had booked a king bed room and was pleasantly surprised on arrival when we were upgraded to a room with a balcony! The bed was comfortable (pillows weren't the best but that is personal preference). Good tv and free internet is excellent. All the staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. They would always say hello... More

We were there for a conference so got a very good rate, would not have stayed at the full rate though. The room was nice, clean, modern and quiet. I think there are other rooms that were not yet updated and there was some work going on on some of the floors. The gym was on one of the floors... More

Coming from central N.S.W we managed to get lost getting to the hotel even with the help of the satellite navigator. I rang the concierge, Salvador I think his name was. What fantastic patience he has. He managed to talk us right through to the hotel. He was brilliant. The hotel has a treasure there. Several porters and the Valet... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
