Found this a nice place to stay, even if not a lot of character. Typically clean modern hotel, nothing special one way or the other. Staff moderately helpful. Rooms smallish, comfy beds, very quiet. More

My friends and I stayed for only one night and i am glad it was only for that short period. On our first and only night we soon discover we have only cold water for shower. I rang reception who told me to run the water for 10 - 15 minutes; still no hot water. she said she will leave... More

My wife and I plus mum & dad stayed here while having a break and attending a wedding. The rooms were simple and clean, much like the Travelodge at Wynyard except no bath not that is was a problem. Bedding was good, although my experience of hotel pillows are they are almost always too thick, but that's just me. The... More

We stayed for about 3 nights while we were sightseeing in Sydney and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, with just enough space. The bathroom was spacious but the shower (stand up only, no bathtub) got water everywhere on the floor because the shower curtain was too short. Also none of the rooms have a view. Internet is expensive.... More

Of course there are hotels much more central than this. But the location is still good. It's feasible to walk to Darling Harbour or Circular Quay. It takes a while, but you're there to see the city after all. Also, Museum train station is very close and the train takes you to the hot spots in no time. The room... More

This hotel was overrated. Stayed for just 1 night and that was enough! The room we were given was nothing like the one in the pictures. No sofa for starters. In face the room was that small there would have been room to put it anyway. The room was clean and tidy but very small. The location was good for... More

I stayed at Travelodge Sydney in late January 2012. Despite not having a guarantee of bedding configuration in the room booking, I got a double bed -- a bit on the hard side, but not uncomfortable at all. The air conditioning was good -- powerful, adjustable, and easy to use. There's also a separate in-room sink, which means that making... More

Those planning to stay at the Travelodge hotel in Wentworth Ave, Sydney, Australia will be disappointed. Upon arrival, we were told that our $160 room with a queen size bed that we'd booked online with Expedia wasn't available [$20 booking charge] and if we came back later that day, it may still not be available. My husband and I had... More

Dear Jacinta3000 Thank you for your review on TripAdvisor, I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay but to specifically respond to your points: * the restaurant is only open for breakfast, we do not advertise anything different therefore I am not sure why you thought it should be open any other time? It is open from 6.30-9.30am. We do... More

Excellent location, reasonably quiet (provided your neighbours aren't noisy). 10am checkout. Wifi far too expensive and bed's a bit on the hard side. The air con struggled, though. The halls were cooler than the bedroom. There are better Travelodges (Manly Warringah, for example). But basically this is the hotel version of lunch at McDonald's. OK, but not something advisible for... More

We were really disappointed in the Travelodge Sydney, it seemed like it would be a fine, low-range hotel, and it was definitely not suitable for vacation travelers. Location was fine, and the lobby was lovely, but the rooms were old and although clean, the fittings looked sort of dingy. When you ask for a King size bed, what you get... More

Dear BCNY100 Thank you for your review, we appreciate the time you have taken to write it. I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay, and that you found the king bed not to your liking. Many hotels around the world (3/4 + 5 star) have king zipper beds in use. These are beds that can be zipped from... More
