This Travelodge hotel was centrally located to many tourist sites. It was only 10 minutes walk from the quay where you can take the ferry to theTaranga Zoo and other points. There are buskers on the quay and many things to see, maybe even a cruise ship waiting to take it's voyage. You can also walk from the hotel to... More

Great location - central to all. Really comfortable and great bristro available to guests for evening meals. Option of joining the pokies if that is your thing. We did not realise it was the home of the NSW Blues League team - that was a surprise. Only small thing - shower/toilet rather cramped for us tall people. Would use again.

Overall the hotel is excellent. Walking distance to Museum, Opera House and Circular Quay. Not too far from Darling Harbour and Haymarket too. We walked twice along Elizabeth and George St. You can take bus 555 for free but ended at 3pm on weekdays. Take bus 333 to Bondi Junction for shopping.

Sydney was very busy with the Vivid Light Festival and Writers Festival in full swing but a bed was available in the right place at the right time. Access to the entrance would be somewhat challenging for a disabled person -about 10 steps up into the lobby. The accomodation was comfortable and right next to Martin Place. Meals were available... Comfortable lodgings in a very convenient spot in the city. There are reasonable eateries right on site that were open over the weekend too. Breakfast was basic, but that suited fine and the meals, although not exceptional, were sufficient.

Great CBD location right next to Martin Place. Very close to St James and Martin Place train stations. Rooms clean and comfortable but don't expect a view. Very quiet for location. Parking available offsite but be warned lift does not operate on weekends.

I loved every aspect of my stay, save perhaps the breakfast offerings...I was disappointed that there was no hot food including eggs. Otherwise it was a joy to stay at the Travelodge. Everything was no fuss and easy...any request was satisfactorilly dealt with promptly. I like the rooms, I like the style, and the staff were friendly and most helpful.... More

Although not asked for or required we occupied a disabled room. Therefore both room and bathroom very large. Room very clean, good location, easy access to club bistro downstairs. Very good experience.
