Not bad for the price - the rooms are a bit basic, but clean, tidy and well kept. The only problem was that one of only two elevators was broken during the first half of our stay, which meant waiting.

Improvements in furnishings, airconditioning function, pricing needed for end rooms - example 806. This room is not up to the standard of other rooms, and certainly not worth the rate of charge - $205.

Chked in and yes they were nice enough to let us chk in early after figuring out that they were going to give us the wrong room. Stains in the sink, Only one person at reception knew what she was doing. The ice machine did not work the only one they have. Had to walk 2 blocks to another hotel... More

The hotel was exactly as expected, great value for money, clean, safe and in an excellent location, close to railway station, shops, art gallery etc. The restaurant is very good value and it's convenient to be able to take a meal to your room.

all aspects of the accommodation was very good but perhaps a little more could be done to assist individuals with comforts such as room temperature or an extra blanket supplied in case it is needed. or perhaps a detailed instruction on setting the air conditioning.

My family and I stayed here during the Vivid festival. We found the hotel to be clean but basic, in a great location and very reasonably priced on the busy June long weekend. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms clean and I loved the inclusion of a microwave in the room. The staff were very friendly. Loved the fact that... More

This hotel is extremely well located, minutes to shopping, Circular Quay (where one may catch a ferry to anywhere), the opera house, etc. Our room was clean and spacious and had a microwave and mini fridge. Nothing fancy mind you but perfectly functional. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The only negatives were (1)that the shower had an off... More

Writing this review Tuesday 22nd July after spending a long weekend in Sydney at the Travelodge Phillip Street Hotel . I have read many reviews of the place, and following our very recent visit, I would highly recommend it. The staff are warm, friendly, and helpful. We have nothing but praise for them. Out room was spacious enough, until we... More

Clean and modern room with enough space for luggage to be out of the way; microwave, kettle, iron+ board, TV all provided. Bathroom was spacious, shower had very good water pressure. Bed was a bit too hard. Took a while for the air con to heat up the room on a chilly night. Desk staff were pleasant .
