This is my 4th time staying at the Westin Sydney and all 4 experiences have been consistently excellent. The previous 3 times were paid for by work and this time was booked through Wotif secret hotel by ourselves. 1. Location. It is in the middle of the CBD. Everything you need is short stroll, shopping, restaurants, Circular Quay, Darling Habour,... More

Stayed here recently for 3 nights, an excellent hotel in a location which cannot be beat. Short walk to major shops, Circular Quay and even Darling Harbour. The lobby, although not overly inviting, is spectacular and generates quite a bit of foot traffic from non-guests. Rooms are clean, contemporary and large with fantastic bathrooms. Only small criticism is I will... More

This is my third Starwood visit in Sydney and haven't been impressed with the service in any of them. Efficient service, and quick to respond. But none of the Aussie friendliness you come to expect. Overall, insincere and cool. The room was on par with the better Westins. And the common areas are gorgeous. Unless you get a great deal,... More

Some Westins you win, some are just ho-hum, and this, in my experience as a long-time Starwood Platinum member was ho-hum. Had big expectations moving into the hotel based on the price. Location is central, building historical, but views, at no fault of the hotels, uninteresting if at all. Pros: +Great Executive Lounge. One of the best of any Starwood... More

We stayed 2 nights. Our main issue was that the room was not serviced at all during our stay. We came back from dinner at 10pm to unmade beds, no clean towels or anything. We went down to reception to complain and all we got was a "sorry, house-keeping must have missed your room". They said they would send someone... More

On honeymoon in Sydney, my husband and I had booked 3 nights accommodation in the Westin. We were able to check in early after arriving off a flight from Brisbane. From our first encounter with a member of staff, it was top quality all the way. The room was amazing and the breakfasts were just delicious. Such variety and breakfasts... More

If you are in Sydney for business, this hotel is excellent. A central CBD location with a great sense of space and style. Service was excellent and furnishings were modern and comfortable.

I stayed at the Westin for 7 nights in mid-July and loved it! It was centrally located in the CBD, but slightly away from the generic tourist hustle and bustle. We had an awesome view of the city on the 26th Fl. and no problems with Housekeeping, etc. The hotel is near tons of trains/buses, which makes it easy to... More

The Westin Sydney is one of the greatest Westin which I have visited during my numours travels around the world. After a long weekend in the plane I arrived on Sunday at 2pm local time, unfortunatelly my Upgrad - Room was not available since it still had to be cleaned. I was offered another room to refresh myself and change... More

Third time staying at a Westin - other two were in Europe - and it's impossible to believe they can maintain these standards worldwide. Starting at check-in, we were very early but not a problem. Checked in straight away and shown to a delightful room with a nice quirky touch - a bathroom with a glass wall so you can... More
