I rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to leave my comments after my stay at the Park Regis Sydney this weekend. Where to start. My mum and I booked 2 rooms for Friday night as we were travelling up from Melbourne to see a show at the State Theatre. We chose the Park Regis because it was close to... More

I was very pleased with this booking. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean and well presented. We comfortably slept 3 people in each room for our hens group and the location was a perfect spot for us to easily walk to the restaurants, clubs and shops in the darling harbour area. We were all happy... More

My partner and I needed a place to stay over the weekend as we were seeing a show at the Lyric Theatre in Pyrmont. This hotel was a great choice as it was in walking distance of the places we wanted to visit - walking through Darling Harbour was easy, and of course Pitt St and George St were also... More

This hotel is well located, however, if you want space in your room this hotel is not for you. The customer service was polite and professional but no personal touch. The room was clean, bed comfortable, but for value for money it wasn't there.

This hotel recommends itself only on the basis of price and location. It is shabby and has poor in-room facilities. Bed is however comfortable. Air conditioning control is a knob on the wall with on/off marked with a marking pen. The shower area is small and shabby.

I was here for one night as I was attending a conference in Sydney. The room was reasonably sized by Sydney standards although if you're an American tourist that's used to super-sized rooms, you'll need to turn your attention elsewhere. The free wi-fi is ideal. Also good the room has BBC World. One suggestion - please also get CNN! Another... More

I did have a very good sleep, as the bed was extremely comfortable, however the cleanliness of the room was not well done. The bathroom floor was still dirty, and it did not look like it was properly cleaned.

The colour scheme is purple and gold. Staff were efficient and helpful. The room was clean on the surface with crisp linen and towels. There were a few signs of wear and tear here and there like the bottom of the bathroom door and paint coming off around the skirting, but nothing I couldn't live with. The walls could do... More

This hotel has a great location and for the price we paid is good value for money (we got a groupon voucher). The rooms are a little run down but clean and tidy, with lots of amanties in the bathroom. Front desk staff were great and check in was a breeze. The front desk staff were nice enough to call... Clean, basic room. Liked the décor. Nice rooftop pool. Good location next to Town Hall station. Free Wi-Fi advertised but only 250mb free a day. Staff were all helpful. All city sites easy walking distance or public transport available.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
