On arrival the staff at reception were quite friendly and willing to help. There were at least 20 of us staying at the hotel either for one or two nights. The hotel is well located to Darling Harbour and the city in general - these are the pluses. Firstly, we got the Penthouse Suite instead of two apartments - but... More

We booked this hotel for the Australia day hotel expecting quite a classy 4 star hotel experience, the rooms were very small and enclosed, neat and tidy room but everything was very outdated especially the bathroom and shower, you could tell by the presentation that it was somewhat aged. The lobby was very sharp and elegant but was the only... More

Great location, but room design left over from seventies and dirty, staff and cockroaches very friendly. No plugs for basins but handy with fridge and microwave but price charged by local convenience stores cheaper to eat out.

For the price this hotel while in a good location falls way below the standards that you rightly expect especially in relation to cleanliness. We stayed the night here on the 18th of February. While the reception staff are friendly the hotel, accept the reception area is in desperate need of a facelift. The rooms are dark and dingy and... More

We arrived early and all was great, the lady who appeared of an indonesian appearance and at management level checked us in. She was rude and didnt personalise our experience at all. I work as a guest service agent in hotels, i wasnt expecting this terrible rudeness. They held our bags until our room was ready and we explored the... More

I Stayed in this hotel last night. The one bedroom self contained unit was a nice surprise after reading some of the negative reviews. The unit is well equipped with microwave, cook top, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board, crockery, cutlery and everything you need for the bathroom - shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. Washing powder is not... More

Rated 4 star, this is a real stretch. Lights did not work, it was dirty, hot water was so hot it was dangerous, all fittings were so old it was like the set of a seventies movie. They mixed up my booking and left my wife locked out until they could contact me at work. No apology, no care. The... More

In short. Great spot near the harbour but. Our room hadn't been cleaned properly, there were dirty windows, cigarette butts, and other items from the previous patrons. Air conditioning did not work, despite earlier requests I could see on the previous tenants comment card that was still in the room which read something like "air con still not working". The...
