Had to stay in Sydney for a few days, and I was booked into the Mecure. This a quality hotel, the room i was in had a really nice view, everything i needed was at my disposal. The pillow i had was like an oversized marshmellow but they changed it for me....cool! Had a small issue with the TV but... More

Wow - we were just blown away with this beautiful apartment. Location, location, location - what a wonderful view. The little extras that were supplied were a welcome surprise. Would recommend this apartment to anyone.

We are staying here for a month from the 13th Dec. Very impressed. The view is excellent. Soooo close to everything. We are working as well so its an easy walk into the CBD. 2 bed and 2 bath with car park overlooking darling harbour..South Steyne right below is just wonderful.

This used to be The Grand Mercure, it's now a residential block. Trip Advisor have it listed as a hotel, so my review goes here. Apartments are self contained. As the apartments are privately owned and managed, there's no consistency in furnishings. Ours was a little shabby, and main bed a bit dodgy, but overall it was very comfortable and... More

To pull up outside Pier One you are greeted with a valet to take your bags and your car. Once inside you are offered a cold bottle of water or a glass of bubbles... Bubbles thank you. Everything happened so seamlessly. We spent the day on a boat on the harbour. Our room was not big but had everything you... More

5 days in this beautiful 12th floor apartment with spectacular city views. Great for family - plenty of space for 2 adults + 2 kids (8 & 10). Short walking distance to all amenities, shopping, attractions, food courts, light rail, ferry services. Full kitchen, two large bathrooms, luxury fittings, 3x LCD TVs, comfy beds, couldn't ask for more. I can't... More

A beautiful apartment, magnificent views, close to everything.....you could not ask for more when you visit Sydney. We stayed in a apartment on the 12th floor overlooking Darling Harbour. A short walk over the bridge to town, or catch the light rail just over the road. This apartment is very well set up with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large... More

My family and I recently (June 2014) stayed at a serviced apartment on the 12th Floor, One Darling Harbour, 50 Murray Street. The apartment was fantastic with wonderful views over Darling Harbour and the Maritime Museum. One of the best possible locations in Sydney. It has a wonderful large balcony, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with combined dining, living area... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
