2 night stay, was bought as a secret hotel special. Staff were very friendly, great location. Mattress was so hard and uncomfortable! woke up several times with back pain. the room had big bathroom but overall the room wasnt 5 star quality. Every time I got to Sydney I stay in the Swissotel, I have stayed there four times to date. The main selling point of this hotel is the rooftop pool and spa. Where you can swim, relax eat and drink in lovely Australian sunshine. The service is smooth and friendly. The hotel lobby and lounges feel modern and have been... More

My wife and 6 month-old just completed a 9-night stay (Executive Club level). The location is excellent, steps away from Pitt Street Mall, David Jones, Myer, VCB, Hyde Park, and within easy walk of Circular Quay, Opera House, Darling Harbour, etc. The front desk service was excellent. We had requested a room with a king size bed. We got one,... More

This hotel located only 10 mins walk from Darling Harbour has great views of the city and very spacious well appointed rooms. There is so much space especially in the reception area, even though it is situated on the 8th floor. The food is excellent and the staff are very polite and helpful. Yes, you have to get an elevator... More

Had a one night stay in a 'good', clean room with a comfortable bed. Fabulous location, right on the doorstep of city shopping. Our only real gripe was being woken at 9:30am (late by usual standards but hey we were making the most of the stay) by a staff member who came in to check the mini bar to see... More

My wife and I stayed here on our wedding night on January the 7th. Pros: Great location, quiet, large room, very clean. Free late checkout and room upgrade. Cons: Staff. 2 things. 1. I had organized rose petals on the bed/floor as a surprise for my wife on our honeymoon. As we checked in (wife in wedding dress) the receptionist... More

As expected for a five star hotel - expensive but with faultless service. The concierge, David, was extremely helpful and a good man to get to know! One tip - avoid the breakfasts. They are $35 per person and you can get better stuff nearby for a fraction of the price (for example, in the beautiful old Steand Arcade). More
