Where to start on this absolutely atrocious flea pit of a hotel! I had booked a trip for me and my Mum who was visiting from the UK a very special trip for both us celebrating my Mum's travels down under. We arrived after catching the red eye from Perth to be met by a locked door which was not... More

Stayed in this hotel last year, then it was fairly simple but now one year later it's become a filthy hardly one star hotel. The room is dirty, and broken. Even the lamp in the bathroom isn't changeable coz the electricity in the sagging roof doesn't work.. We complaint upon arrival that the toilet was still coloured in the bowl,... More

When we arrived our room was not ready and we were looking to freshen up prior to starting our day. The staff offered their own room to change in. So hence we entered this tiny facility to encounter someone passed out on the bed only a few steps away from the door to the bathroom. We carefully navigated our way... More

This hotel cost us £699 for 5 nights - not impressed. We were terrified after booking it as I found loads of awful reviews and I was thinking about abandoning the booking but we would have lost all of our money. We went and to be fair, it wasn't as bad as people had described so I will give an... More

Kings Cross area in which hotel is located has undeserved bad rep. Yes, there are a few strip clubs & other sleazy enterprises but also very nice residential areas just off the main drag. And it feels generally safe. Hotel is basic but ok. Our particular room was quite claustrophobic (no window) & wouldn't want to stay in it more... More

This was a basic Hotel right next to Kings Cross but the manager/owner John was extremely helpful. The bed needs changing but the bedding was clean. Shops and eateries are on the doorstep. Tea and coffee is supplied albeit 2 tea bags and 2 coffee pouches but no milk. Small fridge for your own use and very quiet aircon. Good... More

This was the first hotel i stayed in after a long o/s holiday coming back home and searching for an apartment. L'otel used to have a rep with locals of being a bit stylish but that was two decades ago and the carpets have not been replaced since. That said, the prices have been revised down accordingly and i got... More

Carpet very dirty, a non smoking hotel, but constant smell of smoke which was very unpleasant. On the plus side friendly helpful staff and close to city and public transport. Low cost but still disappointed

Were a bit worried because of mixed reviews but seriously, place was awesome! Would check to see if all air conditioning works but other than that, loved it! Awesome service and great location! Lots of negative reviews doesn't necessarily mean a bad place!
