2nd stay in Sydney ICH thus far. Service was smooth and attentive. Early check-in requested and courteously attended to on the phone the day prior, on advice of 11am check-in. Room was ready by 11.30am. Slightly tight design of the lobby area, otherwise nicely set-up. Room special request on booking was acknowledged by check-in staff and provided for. The room... More

When unsure where to stay in Sydney, the Intercontinental is always a safe bet. Close to everything, excellent service, clean and well-priced. Things I don't like include lack of blackout on windows and a shower over bath. Yuck. Overall, a good choice for the price point. More

We stayed overnight in a Harbour Bridge view room - and view of the bridge we had - it was excellent. The room itself, however, was pretty compact, although comfortable. The bathroom was also small - it was a shower over the bath which is a little disappointing. The amenities were, all in all, rather ordinary given the 5 star... More

InterContinental is very good. Modern, stylish rooms, good size, decent price for the accommodations. The rooms are nicely decorated with a desk area for working, a chaise longe for reclining when not in the bed and as an added touch an area to recline in the window while enjoying the view. Would definitely stay here again. There are a few... More

While the staff are very friendly, errors in the hotel's systems marred what should have been a pleasant stay. In isolation, the errors are minor but they are not what you expect of hotel of this standard. The first error was that having been asked which newspaper I wanted delivered in the morning, a different (tabloid) newspaper was delivered. The... More

We stayed in a Club room which gives access to a room on a high floor and to the Club Intercontinental where breakfast is served buffet style. Breakfast was beautiful, consisting of eggs, tomatoes, sausages, breads, toast, cold meats, cheese, smoked salmon, juices etc...the list goes on.You cannot beat eating a beautiful leisurely breakfast with views of Sydney harbour, Opera... A stay in Sydney at the Intercontinental in a Club room is an absolute treat. I doubt there is anywhere else in Sydney where one can go out onto an open air balcony with a perfect view of the Opera House ,the Botanic Gardens, the Bridge and ferries zooming in and out of Circular Quay. Oh, not to forget the... More

We adore the Intercontinental Sydney. We are regulars to the Intercontinental Sydney. While we live in Sydney, we always find an excuse to stay here eg concert, theatre, just feel like getting away, etc. The rooms are lovely; classic and sophisticated. All rooms that we've stayed in - generally the Opera House or Executive Suites - are always clean, comfortable... More

I recently stayed here for the first time, having become an Ambassador Club member. The hotel amenites and service was poor. Firstly the room was small, particularly the bathroom. In my view, it is not acceptable for a 5 star rated hotel to have a shower over the bath with a shower curtain. The bed was hard. I don't think the... More

We again had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful hotel for the weekend. From check in to departure the staff went out of their way to be personable and obliging. We had two rooms (we had requested interconnecting but this did not happen) and both were clean, especially the bathroom. The Valet parking was done without fuss and our... More

Thank you for your pleasing review. I am delighted to know that all aspects of your stay with us met with your expectations. We have a very talented team who are all very proud of what they do and it shows through in guest interactions like with yours. My apologies that you did not receive the interconnecting room that you... More
