We enjoyed another stay here during our recent business trip to Sydney. The location, service and views are fabulous. The staff's attention to detail amazing. We continue to be given the same room location each visit and this makes it seem like home.

I discovered a vast improvement on my last stay at the Intercontinental Sydney in regards to the rooms, perhaps it was because I decided to go for a Club Intercontinental Room. This last stay has definitely affirmed my faith in the Intercontinental Sydney. The team at the Club really made us feel welcome and clearly did everything they could to... More

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. I had arrived very early due to flight times (around 8am I think). Even though I was ridiculously early, I was still provided with my room immediately. Check-in was fast, efficient and friendly. I was duly informed of my ambassador upgrade (standard club room to club room with eastern harbour view) and... More

Accompanying my husband who was in Sydney on business, we stayed for a week and then, after a trek to Perth, stayed a couple more nights before heading home. Location is fantastic! A short walk to Circular Quay, the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, the Rocks and transit. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We had a city view, which while... More

The hotel is well located close to Circular Quay and the Rocks and a short 10 minute walk to the main shopping area in central Sydney. The Opera House is a couple of minutes away. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed with king size beds, good sized wardrobe to hang your clothes, and the... More

I stayed a night at the hotel for work. Nothing remarkable about the rooms but great people and great location. The people were extremely helpful. Mr Zafar directed me to a great place to get changed before my flight. This is what makes travelers happy.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and it does not disappoint. We have found the staff to be extremely attentive and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed..We dined at Cafe Opera once during our stay and enjoyed a reasonably good smorgasbord.-we would like to try the A-La Carte menu next time..We had breakfast there each morning... We were amazed at the views from the room and also the club lounge. Ensure you get a room with access to the lounge and go for a corner suite to have a great view of the harbour and opera house. Short walk to many sites. Convenient for night at the opera. Management let us down on customer service while... More

This was a two day business trip with wife accompanying. We did not eat or drink in the hotel at all, so my comments relate only to our very limited time in the hotel spent between returning from dinner out to leaving again the following morning for the day out. You could hardly hope for a more conveniently situated property... More

Warm and efficient check-in experience. Platinum Ambassador status. Upgraded to the lovely Governor's Suite ($1,800 a night), from an Opera House View Club room ($700). Club lounge as wonderful as ever for canapes from 5.00pm and breakfast in the morning - only marred by clueless guests who talk at the top of their voices on their mobile phones. Service in... More
