Only a short stay so worth every penny. We paid the extra for a club room and were delighted with every aspect. Our city view bedroom on 29th floor was comfortable but in all honesty needs a re- furb. But that did not detract from lovely service and sensational views from the 31st floor club lounge. We could have stayed... More

I stayed here with my wife for the first time in 18 months. It was a very busy weekend with the Sydney Rugby Sevens being played nearby and so the hotel was full. This meant I did not receive a free room upgrade as an IHG Platinum Ambassador. To make Jo for this the management gave me a discount on... More

Stayed at the IC Club for three night, and loved every minute of it. Good room and bathroom and a wonderful Club lounge, with a very nice breakfast, excellent evening canapes & drinks and a wonderful staff (especially Marie was a wonderful attentive host). Spectacular views from the terrace. good wifi. Only negative on our room floor was that some... More

Stayed at the Intercontinental Sydney, everything was really nice except for the food in the Club Intercontinental. After paying a considerable amount extra for access to the Club lounge, the view was fantastic, drinks selection was standard, but the food was VERY ordinary. The quality of the vegetable samosa was something like out of the frozen food section of the... More

The hotel is very conveniently located and has wonderful service. The rooms are large and richly decorated with plenty of room for luggage. The included breakfast buffet was excellent offering a wide array of fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, pastries, cooked dishes, breads, omelets, Asian dishes, cereals, yogurts, etc. there was also a Vvegematic to create your own breakfast smoothie. Beverage... More

Lovely hotel 2 minutes walk away from circular quay New year visit over 4 nights staying in a room overlooking the east harbour. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. All staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel has a nice bar area plus a nice restaurant attached (Meat and Wine) which we ate in twice. Couple of... More

Clean and comfortable with amazing views of the harbour and walking distance to circular key, cafes and restaurants. My daughter's loved the indoor roof top pool with amazing views of the harbour, it was pretty special. The buffet breakfast was the best I've had in a long time with beautiful coffee.

My boyfriend and I travelled to Sydney for the Australia Day long weekend. We had an early flight from Melbourne which meant that we arrived at the hotel before 10am. We were fortunate to be given a room despite how early it was. Emily at the reception desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 1216 which was... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
