My fiance and I stayed here for 15 nights early March and had a fantastic time. Staff extremely helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They let us have our room soon after arrival even though we arrived early in the morning. Room very spacious & clean. View over Hyde Park nice. Museum Station virtually across the road. Breakfast... more

W enjoyed our stay here, the location is good and the room was good also, not the best place I have stayed but for the price of accommodation in Sydney and the location we were happy. I would recommend. more

the room was big and had a nice view over the park. If you need a carpark book it in advance - its very good and reasonably priced for the centre of Sydney. more

1) The location was perfect. Right in Hyde Park (about 8-10 blocks from the Harbour) and next to the free bus that takes you directly to Circle Quay. There was even a wine festival at the park across the street when we arrived! 2) The staff are pretty helpful, not the friendliest, but know how to direct you around the... more

Mu husband and I stayed at the Hyde Park Inn Feb 17th - 23rd 2009. We had a deluxe studio on the 12th floor which more than met our needs. Large spacious room, with kitchenette & table, 2 comfy chairs, adequate wardrobe space and nice bathroom. Breakfast provided daily in the fridge, although limited, was a bonus and meant you... more

Apart from good location - very bare package def not worth price. Main facilities are they but hotel seriously lacks on hygiene. Walls dirty, corrisdors were dark and grim, carpet and bed linen worn and generally very dismal atmosphere but the cockroach on the last day confirm it....the place is manky! Breakfast is very cheap and basic too! Stay in... more

We usually go to Sydney once a year for opera in the park, and chose the Hyde Park Inn to stay in this year. I would not call the Hyde Park Inn a budget hotel. There are other cheaper hotels within a few blocks but the ones we have stayed at are not nearly as nice and charge extra for... more

I initally researched this hotel not knowing my husband would be able to pick his hotel for the trip. He emailed me and said hurry, they want to know if we have any hotel choices. I listed 3 hotels for the travel people and they picked Hyde Park Inn for him. I listed Hyde Park because of the room sizes... more

Good, clean and secure hotel for a central location at a relatively good price. Great location right opposite Hyde Park (as the name suggests!); however traffic noise could be a problem for some light sleepers. Breakfast is basic (bread, juice, yoghurt, etc) but an added bonus in my eyes and better than nothing. There are lots of food stores nearby... more

Having backpacked my way round the world many times I know that Christmas can be either brilliant or terrible when away. My wife and I were fortunate to travel the world for 11 months during 06/07. As this was my wifes first real experience of 'back packing' I decided to dig deep and book us into the hotel over Christmas... more
