We stayed for 3 nights in a room on the 13th floor and really enjoyed it. The location, opposite the War Memorial in Hyde Park afforded us with great view right out to Woolloomoolloo and beyond! The location also gave us undercover access to Museum station - useful in the rainy weather we experienced. There are plenty of restaurants within... More

We stay in a large room (only booked double) which had a double bed, single bed and mini kitchen with amenities needed. Very close to centre of Sydney and bus stop right outside if you don't want to walk. Hyde Park is lovely to sit in and just a short walk to Botanical Gardens. Service was good in hotel and... More

When we checked in, they were trying to overcharge both booked rooms. They did not send through the confirmation email correctly and I gave them 3 different email addresses to try. Still no email. I was then blamed that my phone must be broken- I booked in December and check my emails on a computer- it was not my phone.... More

We stayed for two nights in a lovely room here with a view of Hyde park. Room was very clean and tidy with enough space for two. The decor was very pleasing, beds comfortable bathroom well lit. Staff were also friendly and our request for extra towels was attended too immediately. Loved the fact that I could just park the... More

Had another visit to Sydney and a two night stay. Excellent as ever. Close to Opera House and Cricket ground. Transport services great and able to walk in the park. Staff always helpful. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

A very serviceable Hotel. Nothing special but provides clean, comfortable accommodation with a minimum of fuss and bother. The location suited our needs but lacked a bit in ambiance for the location. I would have preferred the lifts to be a bit faster and checkout to be a bit later (10AM after a night out is a tad early).

Had every facility we needed, kettle toaster, microwave, plates, cups, glasses, iron and ironing board, and room spacious. Good air con and wifi. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Hyde Park Inn. We arrived early and they arranged for an early check in since we were exhausted. The staff was very attentive. Room was comfortable. Location was excellent. Would return in a heartbeat. Sydney is so vibrant and dynamic.

After a week of camping in the cold, it was lovely to sleep in a warm, comfortable bed after a delightful hot shower. The view from our room of Hyde Park was nice, and there were drinks and snacks in our room's fridge (the hotel's way of serving complimentary breakfast). The hotel is a very manageable 2 km from the... More

The location (ease of access to public transport), large accommodations, and kitchenettes make this view property most comfortable. Breakfast is Spartan – but fits the need. The beds are comfortable and a quiet sleep is the rule. All is very clean. WiFi works very well. Value is high. I recommend this domicile most highly.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
