The lobby is very small like any 3 star hotel, but this hotel got roomy guest rooms unlike your average motel. In addition, the morning park view is absolutely charming, though it's a bit noisy at night (understandable as it's right on Elizabeth Street). If you choose to live in the city, I am assuming you don't need to go... more

Booked thru the hotel's email, suprising they give me a better rate than what I could find on the web. We are a family of 5 and yes, the beds are in the same room. It was made know to us. We requested a high floor and was given 7th, can't be helped since we checked in at 930pm. The... more

I stayed at the Hyde Park Inn as part of a large family group on the night before my wedding in October 2007. I enquired about multiple rooms and was shown through the property by one of the friendly front of house staff before we made our booking (for ten rooms including both self contained apartments) and was offered a... more

We just loved staying here! The rooms are perfect for a family who don't mind all staying in the one room. If adults are looking for privacy from the kids, this isn't the place for you. The four of us found it comfortable and perfect for accessing all the sights of Sydney. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of... more

I can't say anything better about this hotel! If my mom didn't want to leave, that's how good it was!! (mom's a super clean freak and very picky with hotels). We booked a Deluxe and requested for upper floors as I've read reviews about the noise. The room could actually sleep FIVE! There was a queen, two singles and a... more

Stopped for two nights in a family room with spouse and three kids facing Hyde Park. Lovely outlook. The rooms have been renovated since my last visit, and were clean and comfortable. All mod cons available, and decent contintental breakfast provided in the kitchen for us. We were on the 7th floor, the noise level was OK despite being on... more

31 March 2009 Vic, Australia Three of us stayed in a 5 bed apartment at the Hyde Park Inn. Lovely large room on 7th floor, really quiet. Great location overlooking Hyde Park. Added bonuses: continental breakfast placed in the room each day and the free parking underneath the hotel. Reception staff were great, really friendly and couldn't do enough to... more

I had an operation on my left eye and after the operastion I had to lay face down face down for 5 days for 22 out of 24 hours. The reception staff and housekeeping staff were great and very helpful through out our stay. Housekeeping asked each day what was a convenient time for us for them to clean the... more

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Good correspondence before booking and very helpful reception staff to make sure we got the best two room deal for 2 adults and 5 children. Slight hiccup on arrival about room location, quickly resolved. Views were great. Fantastic location for city centre exploring. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Only downside was a window... more

My fiance and I stayed here for 15 nights early March and had a fantastic time. Staff extremely helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They let us have our room soon after arrival even though we arrived early in the morning. Room very spacious & clean. View over Hyde Park nice. Museum Station virtually across the road. Breakfast... more
