Ibis World Square Hotel has a great Sydney location and is central to everything (and about 500 metres from Central Station). We were able to get an internet deal including a $1 breakfast, which provided great value for money. The only minor gripes were the clock radio/alarm did not work, and it was difficult to get the TV remote to... more

Thank you very much your review and compliments of the hotel and its staff. The Ibis $1.00 breakfast special is an incredible deal and real value for money. As you have also mentioned the hotel is ideally located minutes away from the City centre and walking distance to Darling Harbour. I look forward to welcoming you to the hotel on...

We booked this room with a special rate due to rooms being just being refurbished...lovely room and clean but pitty about the $7 dollar charge after check out to store our bag. We could understand if we recived our money back after we finshed with the locker but no...just another money making deal. VERY dissapointed about this Ibis!!!! why charge... more

Dear Sir, Thank you for your feedback. As an Ibis Hotel we do not have a concierge service. For the safety of your bags lockers were placed in the hotel about a year and a half ago. We have found many guests are comfortable, paying $7.00 for a 24 hour period knowing their bags are safe and that you can...

Hotel was in an ideal location. Room was very small, we asked for 2 beds and we got 2 twin beds about 18 inches apart. The bathroom was equiped with 1 wash cloth, 1 bath mat and 2 bath towels. I asked at front desk for an additonal wash cloth/rag and the girl had no idea what I was looking... more

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. I am very sorry the staff did not understand you. I have met with the team and shared your concerns. We have a full supply of linen, housekeeping have been informed to increase levels in each room and we have a small amount kept behind the front...

Location wise you can not fault this hotel, however the rooms are very small and the walls paper thin. I stayed here on two seperte occasions whilst in Australia. The first time we booked we got quite a good deal, but the second time was at much more short notice and it was expensive for what it was. Reception staff... more

This Ibis was a little bit dated in comparison to other Ibis hotels that I have stayed in. However, things were pretty clean, and it was perfectly fine. Unlike other reviewers, the location did not seem to be unsafe at all; actually, its right across the street from the World Square complex that has great restaurants, some shopping, and access... more

Checked in well before 2pm, reception staff did some juggling around to get me a room rather than store luggage downstairs in a locker for AUD$7.00. I was going on an afternoon tour and would not be back to the hotel until well after dark. Got a room on the 6th floor, looking out over concrete buildings but that was... more

Despite walking into a building site (they were upgrading the lobby), this hotel is in a great location and cannot be faulted. more

This is a great hotel for the price in a great location right in the centre of the Sydney CBD. Don't expect a big room or a nice view - you're not paying for either of those at this price. The only problem was the internet connection - not cheap at $A18 per 24 hour - but less than some... more

This is an excellent Ibis hotel and while not the cheapest you can find (which is why I have given it four stars not five) it is well run with excellent rooms and a corking shower (important after a long day's sight-seeing in my opinion). The lobby is small but efficiently run by friendly, helpful staff and the location is... more
