I stayed here recently and was pleasantly surprised. Extremely well priced and offers a very comfortable stay. Free internet...very comfortable bed and more importantly great blockout blinds. I loved the location in cbd of sydney...right in the middle of a wide range of cafes, pubs and shops. Any downside: like any ibis, the room was compact by australian standards but... More

The room was small but never felt cramped with a decent en-suite. Everything was nice and clean. The location is perfectly suited to travellers that need to be close to the city and station (walking distance to Central) and it's easy to find for first time visitors. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommended for travellers looking for a... More

Stayed 3 night at the Ibis. Rooms were smallish, but had everything you'd expect from a hotel. Reception was helpful, and the location was good in the cbd of Sydney. Lots of food and entertainment options close by, and very close to the subway station. I would stay again for sure.

I'm sure if you have read the title (and other reviews) it is no surprise that this hotel is a great spot to explore the city. Rooms were adequate and typically Ibis. That's not to put them down, but they do the trick and are good value which is what I was looking for on a quick weekend away. Staff... More

The staff are great and the room was good, needs a bit of updating here and there but certainly in good shape. The location is fantastic with lots to do within a 10 minute walk, Darling Harbour, China town and Paddys Markets. Lots of places to eat with several different food options. Only real let down is the price of... More

This hotel is situated in the centre of Sydney. It is within walking distance to a Myriad of restaurants and all the major shopping centres. It is close to Darling Harbour, The Rocks and Circular Quay, my wife and I walk to all these areas without any difficulty. The room was quote spacious with 2 king size beds which were... More

Nearby shopping mall and alot of food . Priority is the supermarket allowed to buy food. Easy accessible to nearby Metro to connect from Airport to Hotel. This will not be the last time to stay in Sydney. Will definitely choose Ibis World Square

A good hotel for a traveler. Small rooms however clean and well maintained. Reception staff are friendly and well trained. Great if you need a hotel room for sleep only when exploring the sites of Sydney.

Located perfectly in World Square in the heart of Sydney, is the Ibis Hotel. Very central to locations which are a "must" to visit. Only approximately 15 minutes walk to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Pitt St. Mall and shopping centres. Accessible to movie cinema and local cafes and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and looked after me both on... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
