Stayed here for a couple of nights, nice comfortable room and I enjoyed the breakfast, especially the barista coffee's. Nothing stood out as amazing but you generally get what you expect from Sheraton, a good business hotel located centrally across the road from a train station and minutes to all the main shopping in the centre of Sydney.

Quite underwhelmed... Our kids bought us a very expensive night here - $567 - to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We could overlook the fact that renovations are taking place so there are no lobby spaces open at the moment - a very unattractive entrance in their place - but... there was no acknowledgement of the occasion. The bed was not... More

My sister and I spent three nights at the Four Points by Sheraton. We chose this hotel, because we wanted somewhere central to Darling Harbour. The room was clean and well appointed, and the view of the harbour from the window was stunning. We found the staff (particularly the concierge staff) to be very friendly and helpful. Despite the constrain... More

We have made allowances for the hotel undergoing major renovations at the time of our visit, which was made very clear to us at the time of reservation. There was no allowances made for this with our booking (ie full booking charges + the breakfast @ $38.00 per person) We do stay at a few hotels through the city &... More

This hotel is in a great location in Sydney. It's very easy to take the hop on hop off boats. Lots of restaurants in the immediate vicinity and it's about 15 minute walk to center of town and the opera house. This hotel has the worst bathroom lighting!!!! Ladies make sure you bring a makeup mirror! It was so hard... More

I was a little concerned about staying at this hotel as renovations are currently being carried out but there was absolutely no need to worry. Reception has been relocated and other than this, a few barriers up are the only real indications we experienced that any work was being done. The room was very clean and well maintained with a... Room was clean, but very dated. The hotel and area around it was under renovation so was exceptionally loud. Location is great for Darlington harbor 10 minute walk to great resturaunts. Food at the hotel was average.

No recognition for elite status. Conveniently located between CBD and Darling harbor. Construction works in progress until June 2016 which is not reflected in the price. Some rooms are small and to some extend show sign of being worn out. I probably wouldn't return. Good breakfast and friendly staff. No gym. No recognition for elite status.

I only stayed two nights sadly as my trip was cut short, the hotel despite renovations is always packed so this is a good sign. I checked in but went to work leaving my luggage with the bell desk. When I returned from work in the afternoon and got my room keys from the front desk my luggage was already... More

Had a restful and relaxing business trip. Facilities were excellent even though the accommodation was undergoing a facelift. Bar service was great. Location is central to everything and rooms are quiet clean and comfortable. Very much enjoyed the stay.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
