I was very disappointed that free wifi was not available at the hotel and in my room the only access to the Internet was via very expensive broadband. I will never return to this hotel. More

It's actually a bit hard to write to much about this hotel. It's in the 'does exactly what it says on the box' category! If you are looking for a good middle of the road hotel and not outrageous prices, but still within easy walking distance of Darling Harbour and the Sydney CBD then you won't go too far wrong... More

We booked as a wot secret deal on Wotif.com and the location was pretty good but the rooms are tired and screaming for some TLC. The bathrooms were pokey and the need for work was really apparent with the drooping shower head and damaged bath tub with bits of enamel missing and rust taking it's place. The beds as some... More

It was a pleasant stay. Nice king bed, very comfy. Reasonable price and the service was fine. Only stayed one night for work so didn't really get a really long experience. More

I have had the pleasure of staying at Citigate Central many times over the years I even spent my wedding night here and have never been disapointed with my visits...be it for a couples weekend away or a shopping trip with extended family I have never been let down. My most recent stay again did not disapoint. The staff are... More

Lovely, helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing! Beds were very comfortable. Only complaints would be the low shower-head and the overpriced movies. Other than that, we're very happy with our stay. More

Fantastic location for me, close to chinatown and darling harbour. Neat and tidy. Rooms are nice, very basic, furniture chipped and shower curtain is pointless as the water from the shower overflows and soaks the floor, the bath tub is about the size of a small sink so if you like baths maybe look elsewhere. Overall a comfortable experience besides... More

I stayed here for business with some colleagues and we all agreed...it was woeful. For the money you pay, this place is old and run down. They even gave my room to someone else, while I was still in it. The rooms are dirty and the bathrooms are worse. Pick up your game Citigate. More

Rooms are dated in terms of maintenance and furnishings, however the service (when you arrive) and overall quietness compensate for these deficiencies. Tried to change the booking over the phone from a king to a twin and was told I had to go back to the third party provider to do this - even though the cost was the same.... More

Really surprised at the size and quietness of the room as well as the standard opf the room,I was put on the top floor, Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful with smiles and that lovely australian warmth. The area around the hotel is a bit daggy but its safe ,it is very convenient to central station if you catch the... More
