There is just something missing at this hotel. The service is not personal and not as efficient as one would expect from the brand. If you want value in a top flight 5* hotel then upgrade to the Club Horizon package. Great rooms, great food and beverages throughout the day and surround views! You must also try out the Altitude Restaurant on floor 36 - sublime food and great service.

We liked the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney, the rooms very good, congratulations to house keeping and maintenance!!! we thought the food and beverage was ordinary and shared areas such as the pool and decor tired.

Exceptionally polite, courteous, and helpful staff. Hotel is in a wonderful location. Rooms are spacious, luxurious, and clean with decent bathrooms. I stayed during an incredibly busy night for the hotel so the only minor drawbacks were regular 4 or 5 minute waits for the lifts, and a 30 minute wait to get a coffee with breakfast
