We had just an overnight stay, but we agree that this facility was one of the best we have encountered. We had contact with 5 or 6 different staff members, and they were all about doing anything they could to make their guests comfortable and welcomed. Our room was very nice, well appointed, large, and quite clean ( as one... More

We stayed in April and had booked a Horizon Club room which gave us great views of the Harbour and Opera House as well as being spacious. The Horizon restaurant also provided an excellent venue for breakfast with relatively small numbers for the size of the hotel, again superb views and very attentive staff. Overall combined with the location of the hotel... More

We had a good stay here late January with great views of harbour bridge and opera house, the breakfast in the morning was self service with a wide variety of food. There was only one thing to complain about and that was the windows in our room could have been cleaner. I did mention this to one of the staff... More

We stayed here early April and found the location and harbour/opera house views from the room wonderful. Standard of the room is what one expects from Shangri la, and as frequent users of this brand we were not disapointed. The room service and meal were also excellent. However, there are a few negatives: no help with the luggage upon arrival... More

My wife and I stayed for a Friday and Saturday night as a treat for my 40th birthday. The room was beautiful, staff were friendly and breakfast in Café Mix was delicious. Only disappointment was Blu Bar was closed for the Saturday evening that I was there (18 April) for a private function. this was not advised when I booked... More

Fantastic hotel. Room was well appointed and clean. The staff were very kind and helpful. Great location and amazing views. All you could ask for in a hotel. We went to the bar on level 36 for drinks which was a great experience, with great cocktails on offer and an outstanding view. Overall would stay again, and recommend to all.

This hotel is lovely and the location looking over the harbor and bridge is spectacular. Easy walk to restaurant area by the Opera House. We were on the club level and enjoyed the great breakfast served there as well as complimentary cocktails in early evening. Staff is wonderful. Only negative is the elevator situation--very busy and slow and crowded.

The king bed we had was equivalent to sleeping on a wooden table. The feather pillows were flat and the doona wasn't suitable for autumn. The doona was so hot, we had to put the airconditioning down very low, and still too hot. There was no flat sheet on the bed, so once the doona was pushed down, we had... More

We stayed at the Shangri-La in Sydney for one night having booked a Delux Grand Harbour King Room and full breakfast package to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Our room had sensational views, overlooking Sydney Harbour, the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. We did not leave the hotel until we checked out, arriving from interstate in the evening and dining in... More

The hotel location is excellent, in the famous district "The Rocks" very close to the Circular Quay and the Opera House, close also to Argyle street and adjacent streets with plenty of restaurants and pubs. It is also close to the shopping areas. Excellent location. The room was located in a high floor with views to the sea, the circular... More
