The romm was extremely dirty and had a very bad smell making us leave the door open most of the time. The cleaner came and all they did was spray deoderiser around so then the room smelt like moth balls, mouldy carpet and also cheap overpowering deoderiser. This Hotel is close to Central Station for Trains, George Street for Busses, and within walking distance to all the CBD attractions. The room was good size and the refrigerator was sufficient. Staff were freindly and efficient. We found it was an excellent base of operations for our 2 week stay. more

Again I stayed in this Hotel and was completely satisfied as an overnight staying location. Close to transport and Darling Harbour, Markets, etc. We stayed 2 nights and was quite,comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and breakfast voucher for $10 very acceptable. We found the staff here to be very unhelpful and very unfriendly, particularly one guy, and hade to leave in the end to stay at Travelodge, where the rooms were spotless and much bigger, and the staff actually smiled at you when you walked in the door! We won´t be returning to Capitol. more
