The exterior and entrance to the hotel are not elegant and the lift is pretty third rate. however the rooms are well furnished, large and the staff very helpful. Stayed here for four nights last August during a trip to Sydney. Let me up front give the positives: - Location next to Hyde Park is fantastic, and its a short walk down to the train station to get to the airport. Much more economical than a cab. First the positive things: the location near Hyde Park is great. You can take the train from the airport straight to Museum Station and walk for about 5 minutes to the hotel. Hmmm, where do I start? Well how about the main reception area is staffed, but that is it. The other areas are sparse for staff. Reception staff reminded me of a Monty Python skit about to start.
