The hotel is in a great location right next to Circular Quay. Really easy access from the airport. It has an impressive lobby, but we found the rooms basic, over priced and relatively small. I was expecting better quality from a Marriott hotel. The pool is small and not very well kept. more

I stayed at the Marriott for an extended weekend in March. What a beautiful hotel. My room overlooked the harbour and the Sydney Opera House and is only a block away from Circular Quay. Only one minor criticism (if you can call it that) - the food was good, not great. more

I had a short stay in Mar 2009 and was given a corner room on the Executive Floor with a view of the Harbor Bridge and Darling Harbour. Even though I was on one of the upper floors the view was obstructed by several of the nearby buildings. As some have mentioned, the room had dark tones/colors and was not... more

There are many good hotels, alot of not so good hotels and then there are fantastic hotels, these are harder to find and worth recommending to your best friends. The Marriot Sydney Harbour at Circular Quay offers the traveller a refreshingly wonderful level of service and care that makes for a memorable experience. more

We were taking advantage of a Qantas deal to fly our two children free (aged 9 and 11) to Sydney, from NZ. I did a fair bit of research as we needed a hotel room which would sleep four and had a swimming pool and a view of the harbour bridge. The Marriott fitted the bill and I made sure... more

The good: The location can't be beat - right on Circular Quay. Our room looked right out onto the Harbour Bridge - a nice view to wake up to. It took about 5 minutes to walk to Circular Quay once leaving the hotel. The concierge was extremely helpful and pleasant. Ice was always delivered quickly and without a charge. The... more

My wife and I stayed in Sydney for 5 nights at the start of our honeymoon. We wanted to pick a hotel with a central location that would allow us to navigate Sydney without having to spent much on transportation. After agonizing for hours on TripAdvisor and reading every review possible for what seemed like hundreds of hotels, we decided... more

We checked into the Marriott for 3 nights after our cruise ship docked at the Circular Quay. The hotel is only 2 blocks away from the overseas passenger terminal. The cab fees is $4 but we gave the driver $15 as he did not complain and helped us with the luggage. Bell services was great but the front desk can... more

We had booked an aparthotel for 10 nights. it was a disappointment so we looked for another hotel immediately. After a long haul flight we were not at our best but the staff at reception could not have been more helpful and welcoming. we were shown round the hotel. We needed some flexibility as our children were visiting us while... more

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend who had stayed there several years ago. It didn't live up to our expectations at all. The rooms were not ready even though I had reserved early check in, the room offered was smelly and rank. The furnishings were shabby and the room was not cleaned properly. We asked to be... more
