Just stayed overnight in Sydney to board a cruise from overseas passenger terminal, was only a 10 min walk from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and we received a room upgrade to overlook the opera house which was lovely. Room nice size and very clean. The only small criticism would be even on a non smoking floor I could... More

I visited The Marriott for two nights and had an overall pleasant stay. The room was clean, nice and quiet, although the air conditioning did not handle change quickly, and it was impossible to get the room cold enough to combat the warmth of the extremely thick/hot quilt, so did spend most of the first night trying to find a... We were there as a family of three (myself, along with my parents). It was extremely convenient to all the public transport facilities which helped us go around in the city and suburbs easily . There is a super market across to buy anything one needs incase and there is an Avis outside the hotel incase one needs to rent... More

I never write reviews… never. But this place is deserving. This was my first time to Sydney and I was only there for about 36 hours so I wanted to be sure I made good choices on eating, seeing and drinking. So, I stepped up to the concierge desk and was able to chat with Eugene Chang. Eugene is the... More

This is my third different hotel stay in Circular Quay in the past 6 weeks and pretty much anywhere your stay in Circular Quay is going to give you great views (if you are prepared to pay for it). This is probably the best part of Sydney to stay in to take advantage of all of the things Sydney is... More

Stayed here many times over the past few years, and have experienced some of the frustrations and inconsistencies others have mentioned, which always took the edge off what should be a fantastic hotel. The biggest single previous problem I had was the door locks rarely worked, having to return repeatedly to reception and on one occaision being locked out of... More

My personal experience was mixed. The room was nice and comfortable, I had a view of Opera House which was amazing to wake up to. The downsides some experienced by others as well as myself..... Water not given on first night, had to ask for complimentary water. Some days was given 2 bottles when friends had none. No toothbrush in... More

Fantastic views of the harbour bridge from my double room. Stayed here as part of a conference booked at the hotel. Large bathroom with huge walk in shower. Otherwise, services and amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel without being especially unique.

We spent 5 days and 4 nights at this hotel in Sydney, Australia. It turned out to be one of the best Marriott hotels we have ever stayed at. Not only was it clean, elegant, and stylish, but its location was close to shopping, the botanical gardens, the opera house, bridge, and cruise terminals. We could walk everywhere with ease.... More
