Recently, I stayed in Holiday Inn Darling Harbour. I had bad experience in particular for room assignment and staff attitude. After checked-in, I was assigned to stay in Room 344 featured with queen size bed but no bath tub. By that time, I had strong feeling that I stayed in the guest house. In such connection, I asked for Myron... More

The best part of this hotel is definitely the location. You're within walking distance to Darling Harbor (5 min) and even the CBD, Opera House, and all those sights (expect 10-15 min). Plus, there's a decent selection of nearby restaurants. Our room was fine--clean with a comfortable bed. For the price, I would have liked the room and hotel itself... More

Like many other reviewers mention, this hotel is in a prefect location. We loved the fact that we could walk to many places like Haymarket, the Chinese Gardens, Paddys Market and Darling Harbour. Our room was spotless and the staff very pleasant. Hotel is not so trendy nor is it stuffy but quite comfotable. A plesant stay here and we... More

The best thing I like about Holiday Inn Darling Harbour is its location. Chinatown and Haymarket are just close by, and within short walking distance are Darling Harbour and the Sydney Fish Market. The superior room I stayed in was spacious enough and the bed was comfy. However, breakfast choices were limited. Some slightly different varieties each day would be... More

Stayed in this hotel mainly due to the excellent location at Darling Harbour - very convenient. The hotel seems to be used a lot by tour groups, so always tons of people waiting at reception. Checked in early afternoon, took 20mins as only 1 person on the desk. Didn't even bother with the queue at checkout, just dropped my card... More

Stayed in the hotel for two nights. The location is fantastic and a five minute walk brings you to Darling Harbour, with wonderful cafes, restaurants and museums. It is also adjacent to Haymarket. The Central Business District is a short walk away. The monorail station is less than a 5 minute walk. The bus station for the Sydney Explorer Buses(... More

we spent 4 nights in this holiday inn, with 5 rooms.after holiday inn cairns, which was our preceding hotel, it was a real comedown. the hotel has a great location..eating places, tourist spots and the nearby city and paddy's markets for shopping, but thats about it. the staff at the reception were uniformly surly and uncooperative, something i guess that... The hotel is well located just across from the Entertainment Centre and a short walk to Paddy's Market and Chinatown. Walking around the area at night felt safe as there were so many people around and it was well lit. But apart from the monorail it is a fair walk from any transport - busses are 2 blocks away, central... More
