We stayed in a King Standard room for four nights and were happy with most things about the hotel. We originally tried to book an apartment on the coast through Stayz but none of the places responded. As seniors, we can travel around Sydney by public transport very cheaply so the bus stops directly outside the hotel and the train... More

Three stars or four? For me, attention to detail - without being pedantic - is key. On entering my room at Bayswater I discovered, with irritation, a loose strip on the door frame inside the tiny bathroom. It was conspicuous and unsightly, and I couldn't see how the crew could have missed it. In essence, the Bayswater summed up my... More

And I emphasize clean. This is an interesting hotel with its pros and cons. So i am going to list the pros and cons separately so that you can make a sound decision on staying there your self. Pros 1. Conveniently located in the heart of Kings Cross, close to the city and the ester suburbs ie Bondi (if you... More

Daytime service in reception was excellent and very pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms were nice and clean, and showers really nice too with "spreading" effect. Placed right in the 'cross' of Kings Cross this hotel is located perfectly close to trains, busses, and walking distances to all big attractions in Sydney. Absolutely perfect experience!

It took about 15 minutes by train from the Airport. - Buy a ticket to Kings Cross Station as your destination (about $18). - Remember to change the train at Central. - From Kings Cross station (exit Darlinghurst) just go right. - Across the first traffic light in your left side. The hotel is about 50 m from there. Although... More

I stayed here over christmas. It's a good location to kings cross station and the night life. The rooms are small and the decor is chipped and stained. The rooms are on the tad small side and depending on what side of the building you are on the view can be of street or of the park lands. Overall it's... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, had some bad experiences around Kings Cross with hotels but this wasn't one of them! The location is amazing and make sure you ask about the parking deal they have with Kings Cross parking, otherwise you'll pay upwards of $60 to park overnight. We were upgraded on arrival to a bigger room with... More

This hotel is on the 'fringe' of the Kings Cross area so can suffer a little from the residual noise. Nicely tefurbished in 2014 it is walking distance from the underground train station at Kings Cross. Small but well equipped bathroom, good air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful, even providing an iphone adapter which was... More

Great value hotel in an up and coming area. Hotel is clean, tidy and modern. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Kings cross is a good location for exploring Sydney, however the area does have a view undesirables walking around. You will struggle to find a better value hotel I'm Sydney.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2015

This hotel needs to re look at their star rating because it defiantly isn't 4 star. The "boutique hotel" is in a good location yes the rooms facing bayswater road are a little noisy on the weekend but not unbearable but the thing that got me was the size of our "deluxe king" this was undoubtedly the smallest hotel room...
