The Bayswater is a low-mid range hotel located in the Kings Cross area of the city (this is basically the Soho of Sydney). However it is only 15 minutes on foot to the city centre and 20 minutes to Circular Quay - the Opera House - Botanic Gardens. Amenities are better than normally expected in a hotel of this grade... Landing in Sydney on a Sunday morning, we were picked up by an airport transfer and brought to the hotel. The Bayswater is not located in the very center of sydney but this is, in this particular case, a bonus point. The town center is about a kilometer away and can be reached by walking down old staircases with old,... More

We loved our experience at the Bayswater hotel! The rooms are kinda small but beautiful, new and cozy! Just enough space for a couple! We were in the middle of the action, Kings Cross, but we didn't hear any noise from our room! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sydney!

This hotel is fun, edgy, and a fantastic value! The best part of this property is the location. This property is in the heart of King’s Cross and close to exciting nightlife and trendy small eclectic restaurants. Do note that this isn’t a full service hotel. But it checks all the boxes for a trendy boutique hotel. The property has... More

My husband and I stayed there for three nights. The location is perfectly suited to travel easily anywhere in Sydney. The staff was nice & helpful. The room was clean and equipped with what we needed. Surprisingly quiet for being right in the heart of a large city. There is a gigantic grocery store right down the block. The train... More

'Executive suite' apparently... Damp, dirty, broken air con, rude staff. Do not stay at this hotel. Photos are very misleading - other reviews seem completely at odds with what I saw. I checked out immediately.

Hello, I would, as always, like to thank you for the feedback on your recent stay. I do indeed find it unfortunately that your short visit to the hotel was an unpleasant one. It was indeed pointed out to us that the air conditioning unit appeared to be not working correctly and our maintenance man was in building but the... More

It was the perfect location for us since there is a nearby hop on hop off bus stop and it's close to the train station as well. Room is quite small but clean, staff was pleasant too. It was noisy outside, yes, but it is was expected since this hotel is located in the city and surrounded by bars, restaurants... More

Nice and clean room. Great location with lots of clubs and bars around. Close to the train station and pretty close to the city. Walking to the city would take awhile, but it is doable. The room is small, but it fits 2 people comfortable. They provide wifi for your stay which is a plus. Some people say that it... More

No complaints: great service, perfect location, clean, friendly, convenient. Feel free to ignore any reviews complaining about noise - it's Kings Cross, fer crissakes! - and be grateful for the awesome location and cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff. Besides, to be perfectly honest, I've stayed twice and have found the noise levels completely acceptable. So, it's... More
