Room was tired, the windows you wouldn't want to open because your room would get hot and noisy from all the air conditioning exhaust, that and the fact that you're looking onto another building wall. There was no access to the room without a lift at the time.

I stayed here with my sister last week. We purchased a King Deluxe room for a decent price. Room was small but clean, the only cons were that the floor was creaky and the window buckled in the wind. Other than that our stay was pleasant. The King bed was comfortable and really roomy. Staff allowed us entry into the... More

Pretty awesome hotel, the rooms were smaller than what we were expecting, but we enjoyed them nonetheless. The location was awesome for the nightlife, and enjoyed it thoroughly, there was no view and the room was facing on to another building (less than 5m away). The staff were helpful and friendly. The airconditioning units were quite noisy. The place is... More

I found that this hotel was average, the room we stayed in wasn't great. Small with no view. But was clean and bed was reasonably comfortable. The hotel was under renovation during our stay so was woken up very early by someone drilling outside of our room. The hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming. Good location, very close to... A decent hotel. Walking distance from King Cross station. The place near the hotel is buzzing with pubs. In terms of the hotel itself, we stayed in a King standard room for 3 nights. By Asian standards the rooms are small for the price but in Australia thats what you get. Biggest plus point is location. The staff is very... More

We stayed in a King Standard room for four nights and were happy with most things about the hotel. We originally tried to book an apartment on the coast through Stayz but none of the places responded. As seniors, we can travel around Sydney by public transport very cheaply so the bus stops directly outside the hotel and the train... More

Three stars or four? For me, attention to detail - without being pedantic - is key. On entering my room at Bayswater I discovered, with irritation, a loose strip on the door frame inside the tiny bathroom. It was conspicuous and unsightly, and I couldn't see how the crew could have missed it. In essence, the Bayswater summed up my... More

And I emphasize clean. This is an interesting hotel with its pros and cons. So i am going to list the pros and cons separately so that you can make a sound decision on staying there your self. Pros 1. Conveniently located in the heart of Kings Cross, close to the city and the ester suburbs ie Bondi (if you... More

Daytime service in reception was excellent and very pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms were nice and clean, and showers really nice too with "spreading" effect. Placed right in the 'cross' of Kings Cross this hotel is located perfectly close to trains, busses, and walking distances to all big attractions in Sydney. Absolutely perfect experience!

It took about 15 minutes by train from the Airport. - Buy a ticket to Kings Cross Station as your destination (about $18). - Remember to change the train at Central. - From Kings Cross station (exit Darlinghurst) just go right. - Across the first traffic light in your left side. The hotel is about 50 m from there. Although... More
