I stayed in another hostel whilst in Sydney and a few throughout my travels in oz but brados was by far the most fun and welcoming and just generally happy place I've visited. Even though I wasn't there long and most people there are long termers they all made me feel so so welcome and so did the staff and... More

The most uninhabitable hostel (if you can class it as such) I've ever step foot in. I will write a list seeing as there's far too much to just describe....it will paint the image for you. Please bear in mind this is after pushing your way through the drug addicts, alcoholics and homeless lerking around the front door which is... More

Some rooms are cleaner than others, the ones with en suite bathrooms are much better as the public toilets and showers aren't great. The kitchen can get very crowded as there isn't much space to cook or many pans to use. Location is great and atmosphere is too, it's obviously not the cleanest or nicest hostel around but for the... Upon arrival we were greeted by a girl behind reception who was in a foul mood, then it just got worse after entering our dorm to the musty smell of dirty washing and mould. We were told that the rooms were cleaned every day and "deep cleaned" once a week. But....judging by the clumps of dirt in ever corner if... More

We booked into this hostel for 4 nights as it was cheap. We stayed in a 14 bed mixed dorm. This would've been okay but the room was not big enough for 14 people and there wasn't enough storage for all their stuff so everything was on the floor. That wasn't too bad though as we're fairly messy ourselves. To... More

We stayed only a night at this place but it was one night too much for us. If you are a party animal who doesn't mind sleeping in a cockroach-infested place where the beats never really die out, then this is the place for you. However, if you just want budget accommodation where "silence after midnight" still has some meaning,... More

Brados is one of the premier party hostels in kings cross!! Has an absolute beast sound system in the common room and a tv room with hard drive and ps3 for when you want to relax. Kitchen is quite decent and rooms have air conditioning as well. Staff are friendly and has a great atmosphere!!

I stayed at Brados for 4 nights in total. It was dirty and I had heard rumours of cockroaches but I never saw any. It was very loud, but I'm sure all hostels are on kings cross. I liked the hostel, there were lots of single travellers, so it was easy to meet new people. While I was there there... More

I have stayed in well over 30 hostels and this by far the worst place I have ever seen! Yes it is very cheap but it is also very dirty. I didn't even stay even though I booked two nights because the place was so horrendous. It has never been cleaned, when I walked into my room there was other... More

Brados is the worst place I have ever stayed. Everyone living there is either an alcoholic or drug addict. If you like bed bugs and cockroaches then this is the place for you. Ever thought of becoming a stripper or drug dealer? You are in luck because that is what the area is all about. I would rather stay in... More
