Please read my review: The room: The carpet wasn't the cleanest. The table had strange red stains. The drawers of the wardrobe came apart upon opening. It doesn't feel good. The cold: Our room is cold. There is no heating. There were no blankets in the room. They delivered a couple of blankets later. At night time it still got... More

My booking was very last minute.the check in was easy and the new manager is a very helpful and friendly guy who has recently taken over the business.Nothing was a problem for him despite the many people checking in.

Hostel shopping is quite the ordeal in Sydney, and as for this one well it will get the job done. Staff are friendly and willing to help which is awesome. Facilities are pretty good, shower (huge!) and bathroom (tiny) on each floor. Rooms were a good size. Private room,Thin walls, you get a fridge which is handy cause there's no... More

Close to central, very extensive transport network. Around the hostel, you could explore the CBD area of Sydney, also stone away from China Town, heaps of yummy Chinese food, my favorite! I recommend this hostel to those travellers who wants the perfect location!!

Rooms were clean and on good condition. Wasn't bothered with any noise-stayed on same level as pool (can't remember what number level!) but was quiet. Cafe downstairs do a damn good brekkie too. Only reason 5 stars wasn't given for everything was that we requested two rooms next to each other and this wasn't listened to so one room was... More

Good location for the places I wanted to explore - Chinatown, Darling Harbour, Fish Market - walkable distance and the trams stop closeby. Central train station is about 200 metres away if you wanted to explore further afield. Lots of restaurants and small convenience shops at your doorstep. I only needed a room and shower for two nights as I... More

We only needed somewhere to sleep the night so opted for a hostel, 4 beds per dorm. Sounded like a plan. The website states free pick up from the airport, ha only if you stay more than one night. So we ended up wasting over an hour at the airport waiting for a pick up that didnt come. We get... More

It's god-aweful. By far the dirtiest backpackers I've been to. It's just filthy. Where do I begin? The rooms and hallways have a heavy, musky smell. The walls are scarred with scrapes and scratches. The showers promise athlete's foot at the very least, the toilets are wet and dirty, and sinks are grotty with hair. Kitchen also features dirty dishes... More
