I stayed in the Sydney Harbour YHA with my parents, who are in their early 60s. It was there first stay in a hostel and they were all surprised! The YHA is perfectly located in The Rocks, Sydney's oldest district. From the rooftop terrace you have an undisturbed view on the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. All city sights are... More

We were looking for a place to stay in Central Sydney that was close to main attractions that were accessible by walking. This was perfect even on a rainy weekend. Stayed in a double room which had a view of harbour. Room was modern and clean.

Stayed here one night on the weekend. Friendly staff, 24 hours reception and very clean throughout. They have taken great care on the environment and feel of the place. This place is so central with easy walking through the Rocks, to Circular Quay and into the city. Would easily stay again

Great place. Absolutely would stay there again. Everyone was nice and polite. I must say, sitting on top of the balcony and having a drink while the sun was out and everyone behaving in an enthused yet respectful manner ranks up there with the best of the backpacking experiences I have had.

This is the best hostel I stayed in for all of my backpacking. The rooms are clean and spacious, and even have lots of plug sockets for each person staying in the room. The kitchen is also huge and has lots of equipment to use. The hostel also has an amazing rooftop with superb views, and a TV room with... More

Stayed here in a private room with ensuite for six. 3rd floor beside the roof top terrace. Absolutely stunning views. Beds comfortable and room spotless. Location is fantastic too. It's built on the dig site and there's so much to see within the building itself. Definitely worth booking here.

You just can not give YHA Sydney Harbour 5 pt! This huge hostel is like no other: it is part of an archeological site. I have never seen such an impressive combo before! And the location is just terrific! Form the rooftop terrace you can see the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge - wait for the sunset... I booked... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights in a quadshare and really liked it. The room was huge, as were the lockers. They even have sockets in the lockers, I loved that. The bathroom is inside the room, so you have the "private bathroom-feeling". No need to treck down the hall, but you do need to arrange four people's... More

Perfect location and value for money. The view was spectacular .. Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. We sat out on the roof top where we had drinks and nibbles. Rooms were very clean and plenty of space . Would recommend for sure!!!
