Close by are all the big expensive hotels so your in the right place when you stay here. This YHA is on the Rocks area of Sydney. From the 3rd floor balcony you can see the Opera House and Sydney Bridge. Both only a short walk away. The rooms are basic, very clean and comfortable and our double room was... More

I was booked in here for three nights in May and I'm so sad I couldn't stay longer. This is the bees knees of hostels, more like a hotel with dorms. I was in a six female dorm which was roomy but had a nice cosy feel to it too. The bathroom area is great quality and more like a... More

If you want to be close to all the great places Sydney has to offer, stay here! I have stayed in lots of hostels from Alaska to Croatia, and this was the nicest place. They have great customer service, tight security and a clean modern look throughout their facilities. It was hard to leave because I knew no other YHA... More

I love this hotel for the view and the location alone but also the exploration site you get to view from your room. A little bit of the history of the rocks all under your feet. It's a little bit of a trek if you have a bag but after that you will have no problems with the staff and... More

Hi Pogs Thanks for your review and great that you enjoyed your stay. When you come back next though, we'd suggest you get off the train at Wynyard station, not Circular Quay. It is an easy flat 5 minute walk from this station - much easier! There is a map and directions on our website. See you again soon ... More

A little bit expensive but really confortable. It's cheaper than some hotel and looks like a hotel. On the harbour Bridge and at 2min walk to the opera house Nice place and friendly people An excellent restaurant is near or you can have a drink at the bar in the hostel

My partner and I booked a private en-suite room here and it was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was really hot when we were here and you can go to reception and ask them to turn on your A/C which we did. No problem, they are all really friendly and happy to help. We didn't use the shared facilities but... More

Hi Sam Thanks for reviewing the hostel and glad you enjoyed your stay! This hostel deliberately includes a range of sustainability initiatives which have resulted in it running with half the carbon footprint of comparable properties. One of those is Air Con on demand so rooms aren't being cooled when they are empty or if the windows are open. Glad... More

This YHA has an amazing view of the harbour, and in particular the Sydney Opera House. The hostel is built around an archeology site which is very interesting. Friendly staff, clean hotel. The top level is a great place to relax.

I stayed here with my older sister and younger brother in a 4 bed mixed dorm room. The rooms were air conditioned, clean and came with a shared en-suite. Nothing fancy but enough space to feel comfortable. There is a kitchen, fridge space, tv room, social area and a roof terrace with a spectacular view of the iconic Opera House... More

Traveling New South Wales for fifteen days, ended our trip with three nights at this wonderful hostel in Sydney! Great history where it sits in the heart of The Rocks. Roof top patio that looks out to Sydney's incredible harbour, Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Spotless rooms that have AC. A variety of rooms to choose from. Great... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights & can highly recommend. It's not fancy, but if you just want some chill-out space whilst storing your stuff - you can't go wrong. The rooms are basic, but the roof- top atrium view of the harbour is magnificent.... Perhaps, iconic?!? For those that might care, there was no TV in our... More
