I booked to stay at these apartments for a 2-night conference. I am in a wheelchair, and I knew they did not have "official" accessible rooms, but all I need are a lift, no steps at the entrance, and a plastic chair in the shower. I booked online, and requested I either have a room with a shower over the... More

We stayed here for two nights and were very impressed. Of course, it could have been improved (perhaps with side tables and a clock radio) but overall it was very good indeed. And the staff were very helpful with a late checkout and looking after our luggage. We'll be back.

This is THE WORST experience I have ever had on a short holiday with friends. I thought I had stayed in some of the worst dives in Australia, but "AEA Apartments" takes the prize. I traveled interstate with 3 other friends, we had booked a family room. Two friends arrived earlier in the day and checked in with the man... More

No one at Reception. Had to repeatedly call number on display for assistance to get someone. Room wasn't particularly clean. Stayed in apartment just above the shop, which was noisy. This is a Residential Property, not a Hotel. Residents are very angry when people book into this property so be prepared for challenges. Apparently there was a series of articles... More

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for a week for Vivid 2014 as we had a busy week of activities in and around Vivid planned. The apartments are in a fantastic location if you want to be based around the Circular Quay end of Sydney. To our delight, Custome House was at the end of Loftus St - two... More

Stayed in a superior studio room for a one-night stop over in Sydney. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room and facilities were, considering the low price - even had a view of the Harbour Bridge. Would definitely stay here again.

After reading the reviews, I was a little unsure about booking. However with everything else booked out had no other options, I booked and hoped I didn't get the room above the shop. Yep guessed it, got the room above the shop. The room was great, with a good view of the street, its easy to kick back and watch... More

Would rate this place as average to good depending on the room that you manage to draw. Great location, close to Circular Quay and a short walk to The Rocks, Opera House, museum, gardens etc. The apartments are individually owned, with a number occupied by owners / tenants which no doubt accounts for the varied experiences by those staying here... Excellent position - one street from Circular Quay so very close to ferries, the Rocks, Opera House and Gardens. Not too far from city centre. Not bad view got to see some of bridge. Unit was very comfortable and clean. Bed was veeerrry comfortable. No one on reception at all times but a phone contact.

A tricky one , this. The building is in a perfect location, 50 metres from Circular Quay. A short and iconic walk to the Opera House, The Rocks, The Royal Botanic Gardens. We had a 1 bedroom deluxe, which was well furnished, quiet enough ( some bus noise is unavoidable in this position); tea, coffee, jug were cheap, bed and... More
