Never again will I stay at your hotel due to the lack of cleanliness and the Rudness of staff. Asked for things to get fixed (aircon) and never happened. Free breakfast was stale bread. yuck ! 0/10 Worst hotel experience.

Good enough place to stay when you want to tour Sydney. Location is just opposite Hyde Park & rates are fairly reasonable. Other needs you require are just a walk away. Hotel staff are very helpful starting from online booking until check in/out.

Can't fault the price for this very convenient close to the city hotel. The staff are really great, Beds are very comfortable, surprisingly quiet for its location. Highly recommended. Good free breakfast too!

We had to leave the hotel after the first night night. We took 2 rooms, one facing the street and one facing the inner courtyard. Both were equally terrible and very dirty. The windows were old and didn't close completely and the curtains don't cover the entire window., meaning that it was very loud and bright. I couldn't sleep all... More

I will definitely recommend Y Hotel to my family and friends. I am going to stay at Y Hotel for my next visit to Sydney. Hot Breakfast was so much better than I thought and all the staff members were so helpful.

Great access to the city and surrounding suburbs like Potts Point. Most affordable place we could find that isn't a backpackers within a few km of the city. Room was fairly quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Room was quiet, clean and comfy. Shared bathrooms were clean and in good shape. A cold breakfast is included and an upgrade to warm breakfast is only $7. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was very good, super convenient and close to everything but still quiet.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
