stayed here for 3 nights, very good value. the rooms aren't very big but your only there to sleep I suppose, there was 3 single beds in our room which suited fine as there was 3 adults staying. the room had a shower and toilet and tv so it was good value. the free breakfast was cereal and toast otherwise... The hotel is located in a very convenient place. Easy access to public transport and walking distance to iconic landmarks. However, the room was in front of a VERY NOISY street and the balcony's sliding door didn't close properly...

Love this hotel lies just a short walk to most attractions. Is clean, good continental breakfast to upgrade to your liking, just across the famous Hyde park but most importantly the bathrooms are clean. That has my biggest appreciation.

I stayed here in Nov 2014 for 4 nights in a double room with shared washrooms. I booked the hotel thru hotels.com intially for CAD$80 a night then I did a price match with the website to get it for $65 a night. For $65 a night I thought was worth my money given Sydney is so expensive, the location... More

This hotel is located in the heart of the Sydney City downtown and is close to everything! Just only walking distance to Opera House also Habour Bridge. Cheap and clean! Probably is the most economy stay in city!

You get what you pay for and Sydney is not a cheap destination. The room was small for for people ( looked bigger in photo) but worst of all was noisy. The traffic outside was endless. It was also musty smelling. Free breakfast available but all stodgy stuff. Wouldn't pick again it just wasn't nice enough. Would rather pay a... More

I was dubious about booking this hotel, but Sydney's expensive, particularly for a hotel in a prime location, which the Y is. Now that I've completed my stay, I wholeheartedly recommend it. The bed and room were fine. The usual amenities: A/C, TV, in -room safe, were all there, along with a water heater and coffee and tea. A continental... More

I recently attended a conference at the Y Hotel and stayed here for one night. I will be honest... it is not a hotel I would normally look at to stay.... but I have now changed my mind. From Central Station it was an easy fifteen minute walk and was also easy to find. When I walked into foyer I... More

We booked a double room with shared bathroom for 6 nights based on the location. The hotel is close to Liverpool Street and subway station. You can catch buses and subway to various part of the city. It is also close to restaurants (Korean restaurants on Pitt Street, China Town on Dixie Street), Paddy’s market and shopping area on George... More
