Looks a little off putting from downstairs but a casual diner with excellent staff and food at woolomoloo. We ate twice in the evening as very local to our hotel. I had king prawns with tomatoes, garlic and garlic bread, partner had steak cooked to perfection and excellent bottle sauvignon price 20 aud each, starter pizz to share. Lovely efficient... More

Very cute place - just grubby bathrooms and felt like we were walking into a secret club. Drinks were reasonable. Food was like usual pub food. Not appropriate for families but definitely okay for a casual catch up.

After waiting for over an hour for our meal to arrive, and complaint about it at the upstairs restaurant, the excuse given was that there were too many people ordering hamburgers in the bar downstairs!!! We're locals and this isn't the first time that we've walked out of the place. If you you want a hamburger with your beer, maybe...... More

The restaurant is located above the pub which has a bar food alternative . The bit is because the restaurant is slightly diminished by being above a pub . The staff knowledgable and local serve a selection of mains , all reasonably prices , covering the total spectrum of gastro pub delights including steaks ,ribs and fish . Eventhough the... More

We wandered down from the Mariners Court Hotel on a Tuesday night in search of an inexpensive and quick meal and were blown away by how good the food was. Would definitely return. ($4 for a glass of lemon squash seemed a bit steep, however...)

If you are looking for a good pub meal then the Frisco Hotel down by the Navy dock yards in Woolloomloo is a good place to go, counter meals down stairs, and a restaurant up stars, friendly staff and a good meal, at a reasonable price, that's away from the hustle of the CBD..

We didn't stay in the hotel but eat 3 nights in the restaurant. Really good food, friendly staff. Sitting on the balcony you have a few over Sydney. Really nice. And specially for Casey, kind regards from Flipje.

We recently visited Frisco Hotel on two occasions while staying in Woolloomooloo, Sydney. We sat out on the upstairs veranda which had old world charm and a real ambience about it. Lovely old historic hotel built in late 1800's. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Great choice of meals, ample portion sizes and extremely reasonable prices. We tried the seafood linguine... More
