I am sure it's not the most trendy expensive hotel, but mum and I keep a beautiful memory of our stay, staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. The location is perfect and I couldn't ask for better value.

We did a late check in after the reception hours, so had to tell them in advance and they left us our keys in an envelope at the reception to be picked up when we got there in the evening. Room was fine, quite small but we only stayed the night so it did the job. Good location.

We stayed here for two nights. The service was very basic but it was good value for the price and a central location though there's a huge staircase to mount with your baggage when you arrive (no lift). The room (203) was clean except for a half eaten Brie cheese we found in the fridge which was left over from... More

A good price for Sydney central but I was on the 4th floor and there are no lifts. Hard to carry heavy bages up the stairs. A small room but modernised and comfortable. Towels were in good condition and the room was clean.

Rooms are clean. Very convenient location in the city. Would struggle with too much luggage as there is no lift. No car park Beds are comfortable and rooms are quite for a good night sleep. A bit tricky to find the entrance on Hunter street as the entrance is just a door and the board is not bit enough to... More

Great location but you have to be in a position to carry your bags up rather steep uncarpeted staircases. No lift. This would not be suitable for the elderly or families with young children. My room was on the 4th floor and I had to climb up more than 60 steps. The room was average though there was a sign... More

Accommodation at a premium in the City due to a number of big events hence our choice of this budget hotel. Our room was clean a little dated and perhaps a little noisy with people climbing the many wooden stairs returning home late but we would stay here again. The reception staff friendly and hotel location excellent with walking distance... More

Be prepared to carry your bags upstairs, no elevator. Receptionist was very thorough and friendly. Room was queen with ensuite. Room was small but sufficient. Decor a little dated. Overall a good stay. Comfy bed, good pillows and room and ensuite were clean.

This hotel is fairly basic but has everything you need, is clean and the staff are friendly. The location is very convenient with it being only a 5-10 minute walk to either darling harbour or circular quay. It's also happens to be on the same road as Frankies pizza... If you haven't been you need to!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
