My family recently stayed at the APX World Square apartments for Australia Day 2016. There was 3 of us (2 x adults and 1 x child) we booked a standard 2 x bedroom apartment. Well we thought we did in any case, when we finally found the entrance , which is down a quiet dark un- inviting back street we... More

APX Apartments are found near Sydneys Chinatown & are self contained with good facilities- this includes kitchen, washer & dryer. Close to train stations, bus stops & the CBD. These apartments appear to be popular with long-term International Students. There is a small reception area with 24 hour staff who are efficient & friendly. Unfortunately the Lifts are inadequate- only... More

With a finite budget for work especially for a work trip for a week, I am happy to forego some of the services of a 4-star hotel for more space if it means I want to entertain, cook something myself or lay out all my stuff for work after-hours. It has changed from "Quest" to "APX", located just behind Maloney's... More

We stayed in January 2016 for 3 nights in a studio apartment with balcony. We had a king bed and roll-a-way for a child. First impression wasn't great, Cunningham Street is a small dark smelly laneway. The "foyer" to this apartment block is tiny, dark and unwelcoming. Our room was on the 11th floor, the apartment was narrow. The bathroom... More

Pleasantly surprised considering the price was quite low. Beautifully clean one room apartment, with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, small but very adequate bathroom, king size bed, and best of all, a balcony! (View was terrible, but hey). The pool is for serious lap swimmers but was still fine for us on a 40 degree day. We will be... More

I stayed at APX World Square for one night in January 2016. This has been a favourite for me for some years now in Sydney, with a central location, good staff, comfortable rooms and generally excellent value for money. The QUEST brand has recently been replaced with APX, but very little else has changed. Service levels remain high and the... More

In short, you can probably do better in the price range. This place is stretching the word "apartment." We had a 1-bedroom apt rented, but it was really more like a studio. No door separated the living room and bedroom and you had to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. The view was into an office building... More

Liked these apartments so much on my first visit in Oct this year, I booked again for my last weekend in Sydney in November. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The apartments are clean comfortable and equipped with all you would need for your stay. Stayed at more stylish apartments in Brisbane and Melbourne but these were still my... More
