The experience at Shanghai Tang restaurant was horrifying.. when we enterred restaurant, no attention was given. we had to ask staff whether we can sit down. We sat down for over 15 minutes, no menu was given. We had to get up and asked menu at counter. Order was take after another 15 minutes when we signaled waiters for long... more

The food at "Shanghai Tan Restaurant" is quite ordinary, but I had a severe food poisioning which lasted a few days, and led to me to the emergency department at the hospital with extremely high fever and other complications. The staff were very rude and unhelpful when I approached them with my condition and asked for refund. BECAREFUL OF THIS... more

Our 3 night stay at BreakFree on George was very enjoyable. The location to the Theatre district, Chinatown, Paddy's Market and the easy walking distance to Darling Harbour was an advantage. The close proximity of the Monorail, Light Rail Transit and the Central Rail Station made the location even better. The street noise didn't have any adverse affect during the... more

This is a very a nice hotel with good location. It is actually located in the center of China town where you can have great meals at night. It is well located as it is only 15 min walking distance to Sydney harbour. If you dont want to walk because you are tired, it is also fine to take the... more

Needed somewhere to stay in Sydney which wasn't a hostel but still needed a good location and didn't want to pay a lot. This fitted all our , very basic, requirements. Just a few minutes walk from Central Station and right in the hustle and bustle of Chinatown, Breakfree on George was an uncomplicated apartment location. The rooms, we had... more

I have been staying in the Breakfree while working in Sydney and have really liked it. The studio rooms are a good size, some of them huge, the beds are comfy and everything is clean and neat. One thing to the careful of is the street noise if you're a light sleeper like me. If this is the case make... more

there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel ! its a bargain of a price, and you get what you pay for, i'll admit there is no pool or spa (apart from the beauty spa) but.. if you want all this and a spa in your room, then don't be cheap and go pay a few hundred more and stay... more

We booked two rooms at the Breakfree on George for a 5 day business trip in Sydney. The rooms had seperate bedrooms, though one of the rooms did not have a door to the bedroom. Kitchenettes complete with microwave, small refrigerator, and a two burner cooktop, as well as a small balcony. The building is new, but it had windows... more

Normally I don't take to heart what I see on Trip Advisor, being in the Industry and knowing the service and facilities and location we give and reading some peoples comments, I understand that it was their expectation not met, not our facilities and services not upto standard. Eco Resort means insects and animals!! However my family and I stayed... more

Ok Guys, Here is the truth of this hotel. I checked in on the 4th November 2007 at about 14:00 and the check-in time is around 14:00. Now there is a point that sometimes some rooms are not ready at 14:00 which is check in time but lucky my room was ready how ever the couple in front's room which... more
