3 days in Sydney on a business trip.. didnt really wanted a kitchenette attached hotel room but hotel rooms otherwise were expensive too so went ahead with this.. was pretty satisfied in the end.. as Breakfree's location is pretty convenient.. right in the heart of Sydney with all the major attractions located within 20 mnts walking distance or 5-10 minutes... more

The hotel it self was not to bad. When we 1st checked in the card keys to our room would not work so we have to go back down and tell the lady, she let us in than and said to pick up the keys later when we came downstairs but the guy at reception knew nothing about it so... more

As with most things Australian, our room was quite big and clean. We were part of a group of over 130 people and we stayed there for three nights, complete with breakfast the first of which must have been a learning experience for them. The following days however they fared better although the food choices did not vary. The lobby... more

I found this apartment hotel while surfing the net and could not believe the pictures, price, location and large room sizes. I rang a friend in Sydney and asked him to check it out. While in the hotel he rang me back and said to book it. He said we could have a quiet room on the 8th or 9th... more

Location is always important for me and for this short trip to Sydney, this hotel was great. Right on George St and very close to the new World Square, QVB, great restaurants in Chinatown. Darling Harbour within walking distance. Comfort in the apartment was fair, colours trendy. Small balcony. Bathroom ok, the shower curtains need to be aired though. Lots... more

We stayed at the Breakfree for one night 2 weeks ago. It was very clean, a good size and in a great location only 5 mins walk frm Darling Harbour and Central Station. Had a large bathroom, new tv, loungeroom and nice decor. One double bed at one end of the living area and another double bed in a separate... more

I would have stayed 6 days instead of 2 but the usage charges for Internet were killing me: you don't just pay the daily rate, you pay for how much data you transfer after a not-very-generous maximum. I got charged $120 for two days -- good that I did not try to download the Lord of the Rings trilogy or... more

So my husband and I needed to stay one night in Sydney before flying back to Canada. We had already stayed two nights at the beginning of our month long adventure (at the Four Point Sheraton). This time around I wanted a cheap clean room in a good location. Break Free on George was a different kind of place. It... more

Me, my husband and our young baby stayed here in March 2009. The hotel was in a great location. When booking the lady told us the room had we booked slept 4. (2 Adults 2 kids.) Which was called a family room, well unless we wanted to go to bed at the same time as our 7 month old shortly... more

Stayed 5 nights in February. I shared a twin room with a work friend - we were both attending a conference at Darling Harbour. The room was 'cosy' (beds very close together, so we had to get over our fear of disturbing each other by snoring!) and one of us would use the bedroom for getting changed while the other... more
