Okay, they call it Potts Point when it's really the Cross - but you couldn't really ask for a better location - just a few minutes from the train station, walking distance to Oxford St and all the other local pleasures. You might just want to watch that back street at night! And the hotel was wonderful. We had three... more

I was in Sydney on a business trip and know the area very well. I never mind the grunginess of the Cross and feel quite comfortable there. I hadn't stayed at the Quest/Storrier. I had a Superior Studio, at the back of the hotel on the ground floor. Being at the back it was very quiet. The garbage trucks do... more

My husband and I spent a week at, what is now, Quest Potts Point while we were in Sydney. We had a wonderful stay and loved the hotel. The room was clean and very poshly decorated and the servfice was great. The location, as noted in previous posts, is just a block away from Kings Cross, but the area is... more

I was on a business trip in Australia and arranged a stop-over in Sydney to visit my brother, sister-in law and my daughter, who was travelling in Asia. My brother lives in Potts point and this is the hotel he setup for us. We got an Executive Twin Suite because it had 2 queen beds. The location is excellent. Other... more

Firstly, the management of this hotel has been taken over by Quest Apartments (www.questpottspoint.com.au). So far as I can tell, however, nothing has been changed in the excellent decor, and customer service. I agree that the rooms are quite small, but the really clever use of space, colour, and mirrors totally compensates. For a hotel that was refurbished about 2... more

We stayed at the Storrier on Nov 22-23, 2008. We booked directly with the hotel for a "petite studio" for 140 AUS/ 98 US per night, and were very happy with our decision. We took the Skybus from the airport, which was great because it dropped us right in front of the hotel, but the place is really close to... more

I stayed at the Storrier for 4 nights in October. There are good and bad points about the hotel. The good: the hotel itself is very nice. The rooms were a little small, nice and clean. The interior decor is very funky. There are heaps of restaurants, bars and nightlife nearby. The Kings Cross subway station is only a minute... more

WE stayed three nights in a Petite Studio at $140 a night, which was a reasonable price comparatively. The room was very small, which we expected, and stylishly furnished. We found the staff to be very efficient and friendly. On the down side, the worst thing about the hotel was the area. Not being from Sydney, we didn't realise Potts... more

We recently stayed in Sydney at The Storrier and found it to be one of the best Hotels we've stayed at. We live in a regional area and are known for our friendliness so when staying at the Storrier we found it was like staying at a Hotel at home. Im jealous though, the rooms were better than my own... more
