Spent a week at this Hotel and was very impressed. Will certainly go back again due to all the benefits below. comfortable beds, great entertainment in the attached pub, free live music, great beer garden with big TV screen, tasty meals for only $7.50 for lunch & dinner, free airport shuttle service, close to Big Banana, Dolphin Marine Magic, Park... I arrived by myself in January and am still here to this day, I found myself permanent regional work which assisted me with my 88 days. The hostel/motel is a moments walk from the beach with a great bar and restaurant just opposite. Events for backpackers during the day and night, whilst the bar holds its own events throughout the... The hostel is fine, the beds are comfy and clean, you share the facilities with only your roommates. The kitchen is a bit poor equipped but the fact that you can walk to the beach in less than one minute makes up for this. Also, there are meals available for $7.50 We had a perfectly fine one night stay here

This was advertised as a room with three beds for $240 a night. Booked it for two nights. Upon arrival it was actually a tiny space with two bunk beds and a single bed crammed in. No table or chairs. A filthy little wash room. I was expecting something decent just going on the price. No AC, not even a... More

You booked a triple room with us through Booking.com. We have received hundreds of bookings through this website and we never had a guest complaining about the room being fitted with bunk beds. We have dorms rooms, triple and quad rooms which are all fitted with bunk beds and we also offer private rooms which are fitted with single and... More

I have stayed here a few times for work reasons, the rooms are basic as can be, there is no air conditioning or heating, the rooms could use a real good scrub, and are not worth the $70 a night (off season) they charge for a single, the backpackers party most of the night so if you have a room... Can't think of many pros about the motel rooms other than being close to a beach and being relatively cheap (still quite expensive). Cons include: No air con in room and only air flow comes from windows that are covered by curtains (unless you want no privacy). Room was quite dirty, bins were not emptied and had to replace one... So incredible loud, not a moment of restful sleep. Kitchen is a mess, small, dirty, bad equipment, and smells disgusting. Rooms are tiny. Looks like a motel, the hangout spaces are small and therefore useless cause people are constantly partying there. The staff only talks about partying, won't really tell you anything else about the area. It's hard to get... More

Lovely pub, some really good bands. Unfortunately pub shut at 10pm, surprising for a backpackers even on a week night. Rooms were clean but average for price, no sunk in bathroom so washing hands and brushing teeth in the kitchen sink!! Really good service and happy polite staff.

I booked this hotel as a last minute stay on our way back to Sydney from QLD and I understand that during peak season over Christmas/New Year everyone raises their prices - but $250 a night for this place was outrageous! I don't think it was worth more than $60 at the most! The photos make it look A LOT... More
