We stayed at East over a long weekend with three kids aged. 10,11 and 12. The family suite is perfect and easily accommodated us very comfortably and spaciously. The beds were very comfortable even the third trundle bed! The rooms are beautiful and modern with excellent very modern and spacious bathrooms. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and... More

East Hotel is truly an asset to the Canberra Accommodation sector. As a family with two children between the ages of 6 and 8, we found the Hotel to be perfect for our requirements. Was also great to see other families around the Hotel enjoying the experience as well. We stayed in the Cubby house room, which is geared up... More

A really great choice for stylish accommodation. I was upgraded to a suite which really made for a very enjoyable experience. Rooms are beautifully designed and appointed with 60's feel furniture. Faultless right from check-in to check-out. I had the buffet breakfast and as noted in previous reviews it is a small choice but adequate and at a good price... More

We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded when we arrived and were in a 1 bedroom apartment. The room was really lovely with a well equipped kitchen and nice big bathroom. Best thing was the dark blinds which didn't let in any light in the morning giving us a fantastic sleep in. Buffet breakfast was really yummy. Great value.

This is a great hotel that's a little different from your standard hotel. Things like the complimentary lollies and chilled water in foyer and the 1950's bikes you can borrow for free give the hotel a good atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the beds super comfortable. The breakfast is good, it's not as extensive as some hotel buffet... More

What a great hotel this is. Exceptional in terms of service, from reception through to the dining room. Room is clean, exceptionally well designed and appointed, and quiet... oh my god its so quiet (That's my big test!) Had a great three night stay and cant fault the place. I came here away from a chain, and can see how... More

Stayed in a room with a fold out bed for our 6 year old and also in a one bedroom apartment. Both were great. Breakfast was very good and well priced if booked the night before. Hotel across the road great for dinner too. Don't forget to grab some lollies from the jars in a foyer on your way to... More

I'm a very frequent traveller to Canberra and used to stay at East all the time in 2013 and was always happy with the service and rooms. I've been overseas and have returned to East for my Canberra trips. This time I was disappointed. The prices have gone up a lot which would lead me to think service was at... More

Stayed only one night recently, but I wish it could have been for longer. The staff were all great, and the hotel is cool, comfortable and great. Had a Luxe Studio which was really good. I normally stay in apartments, but as this was one night, opted for a studio and was very happy. Breakfast in the Ox eatery was... More

I stayed here with my daughter for 5 nights, in a one bedroom twin apartment. It was very spacious, clean and modern. Appliances were easy to use. The staff were fantastic; nothing was ever too much trouble. The location is brilliant - an easy walk to Manuka and Kingston shops & restaurants. Because of this, we did not eat in... More
