I have stayed at this hotel a few times before all for business. This is the first time I have reviewed this hotel. The hotel has fast check in and very informative. I stay in the one bedroom apartment which is very spacious with separate lounge area, kitchen and bedroom. Large bathroom and decor all modern and clean. The hotel... More

I've stayed here a few times and every time the service at the front desk has been outstanding. Check in and parking is a breeze. Rooms are cheap, clean, comfy and everything you need for a quick stop over. Location is great too!

Stayed here for 1 night during a weekend trip to Canberra. The hotel is nice, centrally located and easy to find. The room was comfortable, extra blanket and pillows were provided in the wardrobe (the extra blanket was very handy for the cold Canberra night!), the room was spacious, tv worked fine. I was in a room towards the back... More

We only stayed for 1 night after long drive from Snowy Mountains and found this hotel offered very cheap rate. I paid upgraded fee to Spa Suite as thought worth of money to get the spa in the room. The hotel room was Ok with really old microwave & tube TV in the bedroom. Would stay here again if they... More

Originally booked this hotel for one night as I hadn't stayed here before. Got a great deal on a Deluxe Room. The room was clean and comfortable so I extended my stay for another night. The rooms service was fantastic. Great food at reasonable prices and service was speedy. The only downfall seemed to be early in the morning when... More

At the time of writing the Pavilion is number 22 out of 52 hotels in Canberra. This probably says as much about hotels in Canberra as it does about the Pavilion. This is just an average hotel on one of the busiest streets in Canberra. I stayed only one night. As previous reviewers have noted it is currently undergoing serious... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for a work trip in a spa suite. Hotel is dated and is currently under renovation. Stayed in the apartment block. Rooms were spacious, however woke up with ants crawling all over the bed and on the headboard and on the floor near the bed. Was swapped to another room for the second night, which... More

Stayed here recently whilst visiting family in Canberra. I shared a room with my son. Bed comfy and room warm but bathroom very dated. No where to hang clothing or toilet bag. Ended up with clothes on the toilet and bag on the floor. Decided that the price for breakfast was too dear so are elsewhere. Gated parking handy but... More

Our second enjoyable stay in a well priced Deluxe Room at the Pavilion on Northbourne. Whilst not the newest or most modern hotel in town, it is a clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay for a few days. The restaurant is undergoing a complete renovation, so hopefully the rooms get an upgrade in the future too. The shower flow... More

Have stayed here many times in the past so when my daughter booked it for business I was happy to stay here to babysit for her. We were four generations travelling. I was thoroughly disappointed to see the extent of the renovations. The whole middle section of the hotel was guttered and barricade off but we could see from the... More
