We stayed two nights here in July. The room was spacious and very clean. The fittings are a little but they all worked. The buffet breakfast package was a more than adequate start to the day and the food was freshly cooked. The staff at this motel are very polite and patient. I would stay here again for sure

I recently stayed at Rydges for one night in a executive king spa suite with my boyfriend. Reception was very friendly, although my booking through booking.com had not been recorded in their system the receptionist quickly sorted it all out and we were off to our room. The spa suites are off in a corner of the hotel facing the... More

This is an older style hotel and some of it is looking a little tired. That said, it all works, is comfortable, well located and for business it is fine. The heated floor in the bathroom was an unexpected surprise, and on a chilly morning was very welcome.

This is a great place to stay if you're on a short stay in Canberra and having meetings with government departments etc. Great food and free wifi and great room. Not so great if you're there for shopping or site seeing.

Extended a business trip to Canberra and so glad I chose to stay at Capital Hill. Very close to a range of attractions. The room was clean and spacious and while the bathroom a little tired and could do with renovations, it was functional. The bed was comfortable and the room very warm and cosy on a cold Canberra evening.... More

Although the hotel may be a little older than some, and the rooms may need a facelift, it's always comfortable and good value for money. The staff (some of them) are why I choose this as my Canberra home. Of particular note is Melissa from reception, she always remembers our names and greets us with a smile, and always goes... More

Very close to Parliament House. The venue has a relax feel about the place. The bed was amazing and very comfortable. Staff are very friendly. With not much happening at night - there is always the bar at the front of the venue to sit and unwind.

We stayed for one night as had booked for the Questacon package deal - which have to say was good value for a family, the entrance ticket and breakfast. It was nice to have the pool facilities, however the spa & sauna were luke warm and not well maintained, overall the hotel has a tired feel to it in every... More

Stayed one night. Comfortable bed, value for money, not expensive. Room 355 was quite noisy mainly because I opened the window onto the Atrium. Someone working, clanking dishes running up stairs all night. Hotel in need of an upgrade especially bathroom. Good location, pleasant staff, bar staff obliging. A fairly average hotel but good location easy to find, plenty of... More

I stayed here for 1 night in a 1 bed Superior Queen Room and paid AUD$128. Overall it was a positive experience and I would stay again. However the hotel is dated and 1970s looking and rooms need a face lift. They are tired and the carpet is so dark as to look dirty - which it wasn't. My room... More
