Sadly only here for one night. Had the jacuzzi suite. Wonderful after long days travel. Friendly and helpful staff. Didn't eat at hotel but menu looked nice. Live music at the hotel but rooms quiet for those who did not wish to partake such as I after such a long trip over from the U.S. Convenient location to shops and... More

This is our 4th time at Rydges Canberra, and this time was great. This time we booked the Embassy Suite as wanted extra room ( previously stayed in the double room). We certainly got the extra room.Big lounge room, with double pull out beds ( which was all opened and ready to go for the kids) and then a king... More

It was great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us! Our Embassy Suites are some of the largest rooms you can find in Canberra, and they are very suitable for family's with that extra room that they do provide. I will be following up with our Food and Beverage Manager in regards to the breakfast on the Sunday morning.... More

We often have an night out of the house just to relax & re-connect. We have stayed here several times & it's ok for the price (we are Rydges Priority members). The room was clean & tidy & the spa was a nice size. We had room service deserts & breakfast which both were quite nice (room service with Rydges... More

First time visiting Canberra so we decided to stay at a hotel well known. Got a great deal on a room, parking was adequate and the location fantastic. We stayed on the lower level with sliding doors facing the pool/ garden. room was nicely decorated, comfortable bed limited t.v. channels. Bad point: bathroom was kinda old, shower over bath and... We have stayed at this hotel twice now. We had filled in the online request form and on arrival nothing was as we asked - and when I complained they did try to rectify the problem. The rooms are tired (but inexpensive) and the dining room (with a 20%discount for guests) was adequate. It was annoying to find when checking... More

No doubts the location is important nevertheless, the comfort is important too. Its time for the management to consider major renovations. No in room safe , poor location for power sockets, air condition noisy and not really effective. Unlike recent other guests , I find nothing to write home about when it comes to the food spread in the morning.... More

i really enjoyed this hotel. Free wifi. Comfy bed. Very clean. Had a nice view into the internal garden courtyard. Room service had a good variety of meals and prices, and was quick and efficient. Breakfast in the restaurant was a bit pricey though at $50.

This is a great unassuming hotel. It has great facilities, rooms are a good size, particularly if traveling with young ones as I was with 2 double beds. And good value for money. And the bonus is breakfast included, you don't find that much these days in Australian hotel. The breakfast was lovely, no complaints from myself. Car parking is... More

We stayed in a well sized room containing two double beds. Buffet breakfast had a good spread and is recommended. Parking was extra and convenient. Bath/shower combo had good water pressure. The staff were friendly and communicated well. The hotel is in a great location surrounded by Parliament House and the restaurants of Manuka.

Here only for the night but managed to take un the pool spa and sauna which was great. Good location to get into town, not walking distance really do you need a car. An update wouldn't go astray. The rooms look a bit worn and at least some paint would make it look more fresh.
