Well located rneovated hostel. Prented well with large rooms. Clean and tidy. Breakfast was simple but adeqaute. Would have rated the hostel a 3 but unfortunately the heating unit in the room sounded like a jet engine. Had the choose of stay awake all night or sleep but freeze.

I agree completely with previous reviews. Character, historical significance, great location, plenty of excellent restaurants closeby (strongly recommended the "Ottoman" 300 metres away), and comfortable clean rooms with everything you expect in them (e.g toilettries, iron/board, coffee/tea facilities, mini bar, free internet, etc). This hotel has character and interesting history. It is conveniently located for the National Gallery and close to Manuka shopping area for many good restaurants. The room with a balcony was pleasant but the air conditioning definitely needed updating. Wifi was free and easy to access.
