The Hyatt is a very unique hotel, with it's own charm and style. We hadn't visited Canberra for many years and after so many years still enjoyed staying here. Our room was one of the re-furbished rooms, though not recently it was very well appointed. The room was very clean, which is the first thing we look for and we... More

This hotel is located a short walking distance from the Art Gallery, Questacon and Parliament House so it was a great choice when wanting to visit those three attractions. The rooms are spacious, we had a Balcony King Room which looked over towards Lennox Gardens and up to Black Mountain Tower. It was quiet, warm and comfortable (important when it... More

Stayed at the Hyatt on a business trip for 3 nights. I was in a king club room which included morning breakfast and evening canapés in the ambassador lounge. I must say it was one of the most upper class hotels I've stayed at with a tremendous classical look and feel. It was clean, staff were great, service exceeded my... More

We would have stayed here 20 or 30 times over the last few years. The rooms are great and the decor is very Art Deco, worth just visiting the foyer to check it out. Big rooms, very comfortable beds and best showers I had experienced due to great pressure and flow! The staff are very very good especially Stewart who... More

I have stayed at the Hyatt Canberra a number of times and like its country club feel and spacious rooms. I would normally give the hotel five stars but had some service issues this time. Our room was not ready when we arrived so I left my mobile number with the young lady who checked us in and she said... More

This was an excellent Hyatt experience from the moment I received a warm welcome at check-in. The room and bathroom were both large. The room had a courtyard view and was filled with natural light and provided a comfortable environment for relaxation and sleep. In-room dining was excellent and there is plenty of parking provided on hotel grounds. Service was... More

I used to stay here quite often on business and was always impressed. Sadly, I can't say that now. I stayed there again on business recently after a long absence and I have to report that things ain't quite what they used to be. Sure, the cheery welcome, including the "how's your day been so far ?" was still there... More

Historic hotel. Choice of staying in the old hotel or new. Excellent service, first class accommodation. Close to the parliamentary and ministerial offices. This is a great place to stay if you have business with the commonwealth.

I recently stated for 3 nights in a Park King Room. This is my 4th visit to this hotel. I was in Canberra for business and the room type for one person was more than adeaquate. Quite modern with all the facilities in a room that you would require. The room was quite modern. Mini Bar included as well. The... More

My husband and I were excited to stay at our first Park Hyatt. First of all, let me say that the customer service is excellent. We were particularly impressed with the friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism of the doormen. The desk staff and restaurant staff were also excellent. As Gold Passport members, the points were accumulated seamlessly and late check out... More
