I booked here almost as a last resort (everything else was booked out) so I wasn't expecting much - but was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and well laid out, everything was clean and in good repair - still closer to the last refurbishment than the next. This was a great hotel to stay in whilst in Canberra. The rooms were very large and the very clean. The bathrooms were big too. Mostly used for the business traveller, but we were holidaying for a couple of nights and found this hotel suited our needs. Staff were helpful. I travel to Canberra regularly for work and I can tell you that this place is great! It's within the travel allowance amount (ask for the Govt rate, even if your not in Govt - they don't ask for proof).
