We stayed here for my birthday and were given a room on the 7th floor, which gave fabulous views of the city and mountains. The street location is very residential and I did think that I had got the address wrong initially! We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a spa bath which was very luxurious and finished to... This is probably the best value apartment hotel in Canberra. It is new and clean, with well appointed rooms. There is no gym or pool, which adds to the cheaper price. Also, the location is just a bit far out of the city to compete with the inner city hotels. But you can get a bus or cab into the... More

I have stayed numerous times while on business travel and always book again at Aria. Rooms are a good price direct from the hotel and are of a comfortable size with desk and balcony. The hotel has a small cafe for breakfast with evening room service available from the hotel next door. A short walk to dining options and walking/running... More

After an extremely disappointing night at the Capital Executive Apartments, we checked TripAdvisor and liked the look of the Aria Hotel. Drove to Dickson, saw the hotel and were impressed from the outside. Asked to see a room and liked the look of it (for the price charged). Ended up staying 2 nights. Room a bit on the small side... Aria hotel sits approx a 20-min walk from center of town and a $35AUS cab ride from the airport – overall property is comfortable and rooms are clean but small, beds provide a good night sleep and the bathrooms have stand-up rain showers. Hotel seems new given cleanliness of common areas and sits on main traffic road but still quite... More

This is the second time we have stayed at Aria. It is a great place to stay. Clean, modern, rooms plus free undercover parking. Great price when you book direct. Just a great base when visiting Canberra if you have a car. (But also easy to bus into Canberra centre, from here) It's our first choice when we visit Canberra.

its 3km from any eating areas so a car in necessary. The aria rooms are tiny, although the bed was comfortable. Noise travels straight from reception/café straight into rooms as there is no partition. The noise coming from drunks in the foyer was terrible. There is no 24 hour reception to stop the people entering off the street. This matter... More

the Aria Hotel for me is a good 3.5 star hotel, the Apartment has a average size bedroom with bathroom off to one side. The main room has at one end a two seater lounge and a single lounge chair, at the other end of the room is a four person glass table and matching chairs. The kitchen is good... More

Stayed 3 nights in a standard double room. Entire hotel is new and the place is spotlessly clean and modern. Easy check in and checkout and efficient courteous staff. Although I didn't bring my car there is secured parking with plenty of spaces and no need to pre book. Great location, but a little way out of the city centre... More

I have stayed here many times and this is the 2nd or maybe 3rd time ive come home in pretty cold weather, hoped in the shower only to find it never gets better than tepid. The beds are uncomfortable and usually I bring my own pillow. The TV is crap, as is the pay TV and there is no DVD... More
